STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Loving the newest clip! The added details such as seeing the underneath of cloud city when Lando and Luke are descending back into the Falcon and when the Falcon is flying away from the TIE fighters is great. Also all the added Superstardestroyer bridge perspectives are incredible. I'll always love the original films, however seeing all these added details makes it like your watching the movie again for the first time! Someone above mentioned the bending of the amputated hand stump and I don't think it's that bad in Empire, but I think they definitely should have corrected it with Vader in Jedi, because it's very noticeable. One last thing I'm wondering, has anything spliced all the released clips from Adywan together? I mean to get a rudimentary but the best next thing to the actual release of the project?

Star Wars ROTJ beta v2.0 now completed. (Released)
Time

Ok, I was able to download it and I have some good and bad things to say. The good is all the work on englne flash, laser bolts and lightsabers. During the big space battle I think your ships firing added a new dimension to them, I'm not sure what you did, but it looked cool. The bad, well number one I wish you could have deleted the newer Jabba's band sequence and young Anakin being there. Also, I did'nt like the added effect done to the big explosions, it looked amatuerish and cheesy. Otherwise a pretty good effort in my opinion.

9000 Series - Star Wars Custom Special Edition

I downloaded this from Myspleen and wanting to put it on a blank dvd I tried to use TSmuxer, but kept getting an error message that would'nt allow me to convert it to the AVCHD format? I even tried splitting the file's audio and video which I then added to TSmuxer and it accepted it, but after burning it on disc the audio played correctly but the video played with a frame skip effect?

Anyone else blase' about the New trilogy?
Time

LOL, I remember when all I had was dial up and I'd wait forever to download those trailers. I'd analyze every frame with excitement! Maybe it's because I lived and breathed the original trilogy for so many years before the prequels came out that nothing could have blown me away. Don't get me wrong there are parts of the prequels I quite enjoy, but when I look back at that time it was Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" that blew me away.

I know this topic has been discussed ad nauseum and I apologize, but I had to speak my mind. I will admit I didnt hate the prequels but they were a pale comparison to the first three. Quoting the words of G. Lucas "it is the story that makes it a good movie and not special effects" well his whole reason for deciding to go back and do these was that he saw how realistic the dinosaurs were in Jurassic Park and he could finally do what he wanted to do with SPfx, now that is the complete opposite of what he said in the past. Sure the FX were pretty cool in the Prequels but they were SOOO heavy on CG! If it were'nt for a few of the actors that brought something special into the roles like Ewan Macgregor, Liam Neeson and of course Ian Mcdiarmid the movies could have just been video games. If J.J. can bring back that certain charm combined with good acting maybe the films will fly but I'm not holding my breath. One thing more and to me this is kindof a sacrilege, cause I love the man, but I felt John Williams scores for the prequels were kindof "paint by numbers" compared the true symphonic masterpieces that he did in the past. I can sit and listen to his earlier works forever, as they play like true classical compositions where as the prequel music is mostly just background music.

Well, IMHO I really liked Super 8 because I grew up in that period and it was nostalgic for me and as much as I had enjoyed most of the previous Star Treks I thought he put a breath of new life into a somewhat old dog. I guess the only gripe with Into Darkness, even though I adore Benedict Cumberbatch is that all the other characters were pretty much similar in look and tone as the original crew, but Khan was supposed to be from India or southeast Asia, I think so why they would cast a very proper sounding Englishman in the role confuses me. Getting back to my original post though, I maybe in a minority but I'm not even interested in reading anything about Ep 7 or the fact they are bringing Han, Leia and Luke back. Should I be?

As I consider myself an old timer seeing that I was around 10 when STAR WARS first came out and lived and loved my childhood memories of the Original trilogy, I can honestly say I'm just not excited about Episode 7. It's not actually about the fact the Prequels failed my expectations. I just feel like since Disney took over the flame of excitement I had when the prequels were announced and seeing the first trailers with such happiness is gone. I am a big fan of J J Abrams new Star Treks, but Star Trek is not Star Wars. Is anyone else here having my feeling?

I apologize if this has been answered and if you can just give me a simple answer that would be good, but what have you done with these films? I downloaded your ROTJ and was amazed at the detail and clarity of the film, also the audio seemed more immersive, for ex. the star destroyer flyby in the beginning. I also downloaded TESB and ROTS, but I really didn't notice anything new done with them. I like to have as many versions of the movies that you guys put out...Harmy's, Ady's and now yours.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

Hi people. I know it's been out for a bit now,but I just recently became aware of the V2.5. This question may have been addressed already and if so I apologize, but when I'm using my TSmuxer to convert mkv to blu file it won't let me get the HD dts sound? I thought I was doing something wrong because I would get the disc ready (a regular dvd-r) and push play the movie would start and just freeze, with no sound at all. After several attempts I used the option on TSmuxer to click the button and downconvert the sound to regular DTS and "poof" it worked! Does anyone know how I can get the DTS HD to be able to be burned on the disc? Thanks in advance.

I try to look into the forum,as much as possible and sorry if I'm asking what's been asked a trillion times, but is there a timeframe when the project might be completed? I don't know if its a sad truth, but I look forward more to Ady's projects more than I care about what the "Mickey Mouse club"has up their sleeves , new sequels and such. Now that they are pulling the plug on one of the only good thing "Lucasfilm" has been involved with,"The Clone Wars" cartoon, I have a bad feeling about any "New Hope"s up their sleeves.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)

I've been a long time reader of these forum and once in a blue moon I've chimed in,also I by no means am any expert in the Tech Talk that you guy's(and ladies) have much more knowledge about. This comment is very similar to the one posted above, about the quality of the OT Trilogies on Blu. I bought the PT on blu first because I wanted to see if the blu ray technology really complimented the Digital photography done on these films and yes I think it does. Love ,Like or Hate the Prequels aside, they look good on blu ray. I bought the OT blu ray set a while after they were released even though I said I would'nt and that was mostly because of IMO the sacrilege of Vader screaming "NO" in ROTJ. I won't elaborate more on that cause it's been done ad nauseum. I really just considered Harmy's work and Adywan's edits as the one's to go to If I ever want to throw in the OT to watch. To get to my point, I watched the blu ray "a new hope" the other night, well some of it,and I was so underwhelmed by the overall PQ. The movie seemed less alive and dim for some reason? I took it out and put in Harmy's Despecialized version,be it V.1,V.2 ,,,whatever, cause to me his work always seems excellent. Right for the moment "STAR WARS" appeared and receded into the starfield,I knew I was again back in that big theater from 1977 watching what would become the cinematic loves of my life. The stars were brighter, the droids were shinier and Vader was darker. Thank you,Harmy ,sir...from the bottom of my heart.

I'm really pissed hearing all the glowing reviews! I downloaded this twice now, thinking something happened the first time. I even split it up to fit on the Verbatim dvd5,which I have and have read is superb quality. Well everything is set,I start the movie and again am awed by quality Harmy produced. I particularly loved the night scened with the jawas,in almost every version I own they seem to make the image darker than it should and you lose alot of the character detail. Ok,well anyway,I get to the spot in the movie where in my last attempt the movie suddenly starts skipping,,,and thats Luke and the sunset, and BINGO it happened again!?? I can only imagine that its the download I chose. Does anyone know where else I can get the download, and I'll try it again, cause I want this sooo bad, thanks in advance.
