Trying to create a AVCHD version of -1's Silver Screen, I'm running into issues...
Time

Has anyone managed to make a AVCHD version of Team Negative 1’s Silver Screen edition?

I haven’t, and I’ve tried multiple programs (tsMuxer, AVCHDCoder, BDtoAVCHD, multiAVCHD). tsMuxer makes the video run at a ridiculous framerate (like its very speed up) and has no audio, AVCHDCoder desyncs audio, BDtoAVCHD fails (eac3to), multiAVCHD desyncs audio. I’m guessing most of these problems are because the video is at 23.810 FPS, while most of these tools would like it to be 23.976.

Using transcode_video I’ve been able to make a MKV that has the video (with reduced quality, although I can’t see a difference), 256k AC3 Stereo Audio (passthru) and Swedish subtitles burned-in (I synced Swedish Project Threepio subtitle to a English SRT for this version of the movie that I found at Opensubtitles) all synced up nicely, at a resulting file size of ~7.1 GB. This is the version of Star Wars I have in my Plex library now.

All I would like to do now is also make it into AVCHD format and put it on a dual-layer DVD and play it in my PS3 and/or PS4 (like I’ve done with Harmy’s AVCHD versions of his despecialized editions). I still have the original 20 GB MKV and SRT, if it makes things easier.

So, has anyone managed to do it without desync?

BONUS QUESTION: Has anyone managed to extract and sync a 5.1 track from Harmy’s version to this video? If so, I’m interested in that too.

Info: Subtitles and tsMuxer
Time

I am in the process of making discs of the despecialized original trilogy, burning the AVCHD versions using ImgBurn onto a DVD+R DL.

Anyway, I would like Swedish subtitles with these, and the AVCHD versions of ESB and ROTJ already include Swedish subtitles as pgs format: great!

But STAR WARS doesn’t, it has a few, but not Swedish. So I would like to add the Swedish Project Threepio .srt subtitle to it.

Can I use tsMuxer to do this, or should I look elsewhere?
