It’s going to be so weird when Revisited is finished, and gratifying for you, Ady. These are going to become, at that point, a lot of people’s go-to versions of the whole OT, even if/when Disney releases the theatrical cuts.
I’m planning to use the new version for ROTJ once it’s on disc. ROTJ looks pretty good as is to my eyes, so I don’t feel the need to wait for Adywan to produce his color corrections first.
I’m not planning on revising ANH or ESB, though. They were done top to bottom using those sources and I’m not gonna start over from scratch when they look pretty good.
Thought as much - definitely the right move. But does anyone know if it has been confirmed if the next physical release (the box set) will be those versions? I feel like that’s what’s being implied because it’s being touted as being in 4K but knowing Disney they might want to hold on to the new transfers as a D+ incentive for a while.
Don’t know if this was already mentioned or not, but has it been confirmed that the Skywalker Saga Super Mega Box Set ™ is going to be the D+ versions or just another release of the Lowry scans? If it’s the former, I definitely think it’s the right move to wait for that before finishing up ROTJ like Adywan is. Those versions are by far the best looking official release. Absolutely gorgeous, especially for someone like me who has the ugliness of the Lowry 04 DVDs burned into my memory. Back then I didn’t even know how bad they looked LOL.
I should have the regrades of The Phantom Menace and Rogue One ready to put up as public torrents either later on today or tomorrow. The regrades of Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith and the Force Awakens hopefully a day after that. Finally i’ll put up the current versions of the Semi-Specialised Editions.

I recently downloaded the Feanor edits of Two Towers and Return of the King. For some reason, there is not a version of Fellowship under this label as well. To complete a consistent trilogy, which version of Fellowship is closest in tone and style to Feanor, or is there one that I just didn’t notice?
