Help: looking for... Die Hard - Wal Mart Bonus Disc? - for an edit...
Time
Sorry I can't help out with this one, but I'm definitely eager to pick up any of these Wal-Mart discs people are willing to upload. I only have the Villains of Spider-Man 3 one. I end up not getting a lot of them because the store only packages them with 1 disc versions of movies. I'm definitely not buying a double and a single disc edition just to get a bonus disc.

Help: looking for... alternate Halloween series cuts...

I suppose I could. I don't know what kind of timeframe that will be over. School starts again next week and when I have torrents uploading at full throttle, I basically can't do anything else online with any speed. I'll post the rough cut and director's cut first for Johnboy, then the rest.

The timeframe isn't a problem. I'd be grateful to have them no matter how long it takes. Thanks.

I have four different cuts of Halloween 6 and I have absolutely no idea what the difference between them all is:

Producer's Cut (anamorphic widescreen)
Rough Cut (anamorphic widescreen)
Director's Cut (anamorphic widescreen)
TV Cut (fullframe)

And also a fifth disc of random promotional material and behind-the-scenes stuff. I've accumulated way too many DVDs.

I'm sure I sound greedy here and I don't mean to, but I've been looking for this particular set for a while (I know where to get it, but $50 for bootlegs is a ripoff). Any chance of a torrent of each disc?

And thanks a lot for that torrent Johnboy. I'm downloading now.

Just out of curiosity, what are the differences between the theatrical and "ultimate" cuts of H2? Is it a really significant edit?

It's actually a bit of an oddity. It takes the footage from the VHS release of H2, then, when there are alternate shots from a VHS recording of the TV version, it shows BOTH, one following the other. If you want a coherent, non-redundant film, you have to edit out your pick of the alternate shots by yourself. Inconvenient to the viewer, but excellent for the editor, who has all the material in a single video file. Or at least, it WOULD be great for the editor, if the quality were less than horrendous. This is a pure VHS splice (possibly pasted together the old-fashioned way, but you'd need to ask Rikter about that), and the quality is sub-par by 2008 standards. As far as plot significance, there isn't all that much (nothing like the new scenes for the original installment, which actually expand a bit more on Michael's situation and the like). You find out the "scalpel lift" nurse may have survived her stint as Michael's barbell, and there are tons of alternate takes and lines of dubbed dialog, but that's about it.

Sounds interesting. Any chance I could get a torrent? I'm way too impatient for Rapidshare.
