I’m used to my releases being chopped liver, just that my release of the series proper and the two specials happened to spark basically a conflagration over on a certain torrent site, so it was a bit of a different matter than usual. 😛

Why isn’t it on myspleen? Also could you look into doing edit of z and dragon ball in way of kai because i prefer the japanese dub of z over japanese kai.

That project already exists. I guy named whoisthemilkman is what you’re looking for.

Also, yeah why isn’t it on myspleen, Molly?

Whoisthemilkman’s edit isn’t on myspleen and i don’t know any safe websites other than myspleen to go to.

The only audio out for DB is for eps 1-7 and the last episode. The movies already have good Japanese audio.

You mean the movies audio is the only ones not affected by this? If that’s the case then i hope all the audio for dragon ball is eventually found then. Audio that has been released as of now do they included color correction? Because the dragon boxes color’s wrong.

If you want to get technical, the movies are a weird dual-mono mix where one aspect of the mix (dialogue, sfx, or music) is stereo and the rest is mono. I can’t remember which part is stereo, though. But the audio is pretty much the master audio in terms of quality.

Nobody has color corrected any series and released it yet.

Including the the 13 movies and the 2 specials of dragon ball z?

If you guy's aren't too busy could somebody look into fixing the issue with transformers the movie 1986

If you guy’s aren’t too busy could somebody look into fixing the issue with transformers the movie 1986 excerpt from dvdactive.com Chris’ theory is that the image was mastered using PC levels (0=black, 255=white), instead of television levels (16=black, 235=white), which makes sense. I found that I could pretty easily mitigate the problem by sticking the caps in Photoshop and sliding the middle RGB input a tad to the left. Shout Factory had the visual information they needed; something just went wrong during production. The print damage and general wear is a bit more prevalent than expected, considering the extensive remastering, though compression artefacts are minimal, in part because Shout Factory separated the 1.85:1 and 1.33:1 transfers onto separate discs. I actually find the grain and scratches charming, myself – they add character to this plucky movie.

Can someone please tell me if you’re not busy i don’t want to bother anyone if they are if the color timing teen wolf and highlander are wrong. Here’s the teen wolf example http://www.caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&a=0&d1=10604&d2=10605&s1=103387&s2=103399&i=2&l=0 and Here’s highlanders http://www.caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&a=0&d1=8519&d2=8518&s1=81505&s2=81491&i=8&l=0 See the grass on the highlander one and the yellow liquor building on the teen wolf one.

Wow, I’m really sorry guys, I’m just so slammed with school and girls that I forget about this a lot, or it’s just too much to deal with 100%. Especially when I don’t stand completely by the cut that is available, and I don’t have time to render a newer version. xP

I’ll try to respond to feedback and link requests, but I’m just one college kid, and I underestimated how interested people would be in this edit. I mean. It’s a lot. All in all, I’m glad you guys actually really like it, but I’m going to need to carve out some time at Thanksgiving to put a bow on it, and try to submit/get on .info.

On doing TPM and AotC, I have ideas, but I’m not sure if they would be drastically different from other edits of said films. I’m leaning towards RotS!TNCC being universal enough to fit with the original theatrical cuts…? But we’ll see.

Will this come out next year if so are you also color correcting it and can you make a high dynamic range version.
