I just re-read the first post regarding changes and the date on June 9th. Gutted I missed out on getting my name in the credits. (My fault for being an illiterate Brummie) LOL!

You weren't that close - it was June 2009! :-(

I may have been posting by then under FUZZBOX77 - but with a slow net connection and 767 pages to trawl through - it'll be a bitch to scan through. Better get started - see you in 5 hours...

Yep - enough with Kurtz talk. Lucas gave us his vision and this is Adywan's and the same vision for most of us here. Patience! ;-)

I do have one thing that nags me (and i'll piss Adywan off no doubt) is Palpatine's voice from the trailer. The image is fantastic! Love it more than my favourite boxers. I am a f***in' huge Palpatine fan, but it still sounds closer to ROTS Palpy opposed to ROTJ Palpy despite the 6 month timeline gap. I'd even read the lines as ROTJ Palpatine to record for continuity. LOL!

The Mary Whitehouse Experience (Released)

I think your quest maybe over. I have been hunting high and low for these for almost 15 years (since BBC2 repeated them). The MPEG versions don't look to bad when on DVD and upscaled - but they were recorded off an old SKY channel around 2001 and the only known full set available ANYWHERE. YOU CAN REQUEST EPISODES FROM THE BBC - BUT YOU ARE LOOKING AT £375 PER EPISODE - PER DISC!

I think the thought of no second Death Star is ludicrous. Anyhoo - Kurtz has his own imagination, but this was George's baby from the start. It only took a nose-dive in 1995 when he started censoring his opus - just before he went and started messing it up.

Luke and Leia not being siblings? The Falcon going in a blaze of glory? If it had been made that way, ESB and ROTJ would have made ANH look like Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

Star Wars Prequels/Original Trilogy: The Complete Scores (Released)
Time

Adrian,

I've encountered many dealers selling copies of ANH:R at Collectors Fairs, Memorabiliaat the NEC,  Collectormania and even at one stall at a Car Boot at Birmingham Wholesale markey on a Sunday morning. There are a few that turn up on Ebay and iOffer.com. It's something that can be questioned, but then again - Ebay don't question it. Star Wars is a big revenue to them - look at the Holiday Special DVD's all over it.

Part of that I think is because his cape gets pulled behind his shoulder.

We are so used to seeing Vader as a big dark triangle that it can be a bit of a shock to see his neck and shoulders without the cape, it changes a nice stable triangle into a tall oblong.

I never liked that bit when I was a kid because I had it in my mind that he was such a powerful being that he would have total control over his clothing (see now the full power of the darkside, no creases or fluffballs).

Now I rather like it because it seems natural.

I doesn't add up - all the other shots of Vader walking through Echo Base and promotional photography shows his helmet being longer. Prowse is looking vertically straight ahead after he passes through the girders with no tilts as he's walking (short), and then as Vader is walking down the corridor, longer helmet.

Help: looking for... Exorcist - 'Fear of God' documentary - full length version?
Time

You need the first release of The Exorcist on R2 (Card sleeve case) as a single issue and Special Edition Box-Set complete with the abridged OST. The first issue was quickly withdrawn and then TFOG recut not long after. I recently bought the very first release for £1.

But it's trial and error as to finding the right version as they both have the same Catalogue Number.

We all have to think that no film is perfect. No film ever will be! But...

I'M SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS VERSION!

After watching ANH:R (many times) - I will have no reservations on how ESB:R will be - it will be awesome!

There is one thing though - Vader's helmet (Crown) as he enters Echo Base walks through the girders and turns - it seems a lot shorter (like a 60's bobbed haircut). Can anything be done with that???
