well, there will probably never be a ‘final’ despecialized, but 3.0 is going to be a 1080p project (2.x is 720p). The last update i heard was that Harmy is still working on ESB 2.5

If anything, it’s gotten darker. Any “Disneyfication” present in TFA I’d chalk up to Abrams more than Disney itself.

For two, the actual politics of the Resistance/Republic/First Order were woefully underestablished (or not established at all). For three, I thought Finn was poorly handled - a defecting stormtrooper shouldn’t be a bumbling comic relief character.

But overall? Better than any of the prequels, and better than ROTJ.

What you say are dumpster fires (ok episode 1 and 2 are bad lol) I enjoy more than this new family friendly disney mainstream film made entirely just for the box office

On Hoth, when Han’s on top of the Falcon getting it ready to evacuate, some rebel troops run by on the ground. Because the troops are fairly fast-moving, it’s easier to see if you focus on the troops and not on Han (not the normal way to watch that scene). A frame gets dropped right in the middle, not at a scene change or anything.

Near the beginning of the movie with the Wampa when Luke gets his lightsaber and ignites it to cut his feet out, I swear I hear his lightsaber ignite twice in the Despecialized Edition. To me that’s horrible. Is this a true error or just in my head?
