I hope chromesteel uploads it. This looks really interesting. It seems he kept a lot of stuff, but still managed to keep it under 3 hours. I wonder if he cut Grievous. I saw him in the trailer, but I don't know how ROTS could be an hour with him still in it.

Grevious is IN but he now does NOT not have asthma :)

He also excapes quicker now, to build more of a cowardice to his character (rather than making him weak with cancer....)

chromesteel, any idea when (and where) this edit will be available for download? i can't wait to make a night of this...

Yes, I think many of us are wondering this.

Perhaps you are still tweaking things? Or, I saw you mentioned a premiere on Facebook. Probably holding off until after that to release it online?

 Hello all!

I have been having troubles getting it online. Womp womp...

Another member is getting me up and running to get this out to you guys, hopefully......... TONIGHT! Booyaksha!

I'll post on here when it's ready, I can't wait for ALL your notes and comments, I can revisit the edit and make it perfect, because this is for all of you guys :) <3

I also love the poster! Do you think youll be able to kind of give us an order of how the film plays out because I'm interested on how you've made this into a 2hr 20 movie. Have you trimmed most of the scenes to a shorter length or have you actually removed major elements? Any if so which ones ;)

I've allowed my timeline to become LINEAR. Meaning there is no montage editing or any cutaways. The story happens progressively, allowing me to remove plot points, characters and smaller events that don't transcend into the later films! (If that makes sense?)

EPISODES I and II have been shaved to 45 minutes.
The Third film (and my favourite in this trilogy) runs at an hour.

I'm very excited to see the response, as I believe I've paid great tribute to each character.

Other big edits include my action, dialogue and vfx editing.
Every scene feels tighter and breathes when it needs to. This edit is action packed, but I've had countless comments for first time trilogy views that they never felt lost! I guess we'll see soon :)

You may want to register it over at FanEdit.org. Then, you may want to visit the unrelated site FanEdit.info site.

And that's a very cool poster!

Thanks so much! I tried to bring all three main villains into one striking image!

I JUST finished registering it over at fanedit.org, hopefully its approved and thanks for the suggestion!

Hey fan editors!

I have taken the ambitious task to re-edit the first three Star Wars prequel films into one single 2 and a half hour feature.

STAR WAR Prequels
TRAILER

There are many plot points essential to the Star Wars universe and I intend to show only those aspects. No unnecessary characters, No politics and No Jar Jar.

Topher Grace and Mike J. Nichols have previously done this, but Topher’s won’t be released and Nichol’s version only cut out 18 minutes of the first film. I have taken the liberty or trying it for myself, as an experiment and homage to the universe. I stress how much data I’ve collected (articles, youtubers, colleagues and co-workers) to pay as much respects to the films as possible.

How should I go about getting a copy of my edit online for you guys? Thanks!
