that's the point I don't feel like contacting them as I don't know him anymore

though I still know his sister whom works at the health club that my parents

belong to.

and the grand parrents with the film cans live in california.

about about 2000 or 2001 I had A neighbor down the street whom I belive

still lives in the same house in the rockville dc area , told me that his

grand parrents had some lost star wars footage on 35 mm that they found

in studio dumpster I wonder after all those's years I just come to think of It

could they have the long lost sand storm footage from ROTJ .

if I recall they last name was they were greek though the father was from cailfornia

what if we made his the second X0 project??

than again the time and the effort is probably not that worth it.

the film is not that rare and it likely there eventually should be a dvd release

look at quintet some people rate it as altmans worst work ( god bless he died a month ago)

any way it should its way to dvd soon

hey i was wondering since from the earth to the moon may never get a dvd release one should work on a preseveation project BTW

what is the qualty of the laserdisc release if one could do a transfer from that I already own the film on vhs its an ex-rental
of which i purchased off half.com like 2 years back

excpt i had it converted to ntsc
at a transfer house
so how should i sync the footage

so what to you suggest???

btw ive found that it is in sync in some places and not in others

so if i chop the audio in the parts where it does no remain in sync

and use the timecode time stretch tool in vegas in turn should i be able to align the audio to the video

in perfect sync.

no the video is from the french dvd .
and the audio is fron the dutch print which is in english

btw i accidentally gave you the wrong number for the video duration it's actually : V = 6065.76

and audio = 6339.57

this very reason is because i forgot rip on of the vobs with decripter etc.

and any could you re do the math.

as I try like 25x different ways to decifer your mathmatical processes.

could you redo the math and post the factor

hi im trying to sync the audio english audio to french print that Ash595 mailed me

the film is in french as i'm taking the the audio from an 1980's vhs rental that i bought from a guy in the netherlands the objective is to make a dvd quality print in

iv'e been working on this edit for weeks....

i just can't time stretch this audio

so if any one can help me out i'll email the audio track

just be sure you have a gmail acount as the file is like 200 megs

the stretch factor is : 572.67999

if possable someone pm me their gmail address

and i'll send the the clip

and email the the altered clip back to me

Hi i am working on a fan edit of the mysterious island of captain nemo

a while back I bought a 16 mm print of the film of ebay and got it transfered to dvd.

a i also bought a copy french print from someone on this forum
[i forgot his user name…???]…

anyways I also bought the extended german print which is really the spanish print with footage from sobsquent prints dubbed german.

so if any one could help me out

and i’d love to get henrik larson involved in this project

unfortunately he has not

emailed me in a year

i’d like to presaude him to join our forum i just can’t comuicate with him [no reply]…

See i need to time stretch by a factor of seconds i just can't find the program to do it

i have the differance between both the video and audio clips

and i want to sync to english audio to the french video

so i need to find a program that can stretch or compress by that factor

I tried anytime but i did'nt work I may of unfortuntely the progress bar never updated

stayed blank. I told it to exit on completion therefor it would exit when done.

i is the progress bar not updating

please somebody reply ASAP.
