I would like to propose to you Ladies and Gentlemen the ground-breaking, revolutionary saga; “The Duel” spanning four breathtaking installments and following a young Jedi and his wise master through an adventure-packed series of dangerous encounters with a vicious Sith lord. Each of the various stages of character development is a now more, now less direct reference to contemporary and universal problems of maturity and masculinity – of morals and duty. Although not entirely adherent to the widely accepted and revered canon of Star Wars, every installment of “The Duel” is a humble tribute to this one of the greatest tales of all time. Adding to the curiosity of the project, it has been realized entirely in Polish with high quality English subtitles available to those whose artistic preferences are not satisfied by visual artistry alone. Through episodes three to five, evolution is apparent – the story has been charged with enthusiasm and nourished with the fascination of the crew with the fate and ultimate potential of their proprietary characters. Episode Three has two successive parts/incarnations and those together comprise a tale of transformation in their own right. Episodes One and Two are specks of dust which spawned an entire galaxy but for now remain just titles in the public eye. Finally, Episode Six, currently in the works, will be THE thing I urge anybody to set their minds to. Thereby will be realized all the hopes and dreams awakened by the existing films.
