I had an idea for a “faces” set for the OT (ANH would have Leia, Han for TESB, and Luke for ROTJ), but I don’t know how “relevant” it is anymore. A “face” cover could be either really good, or really bad. I’ve seen a lot of bad ones–specifically for animated movies–that didn’t make any sense.
Relevant or not, I would love to see what you come up with!
Love your work on these, they look great, and I have more than a little nostalgia for the early-90s VHS set, so those yellow logos really scratch that itch without the covers themselves being overly slavish to being duplicates of the originals.
One note on the other set that is more of a direct recreation of the CBS/FOX set: the spine for ESB has the title misspelled - “Strikes” shouldn’t have a C in it.
Oh, and those inserts and disc labels are beautiful.

Been working on this off and on for a few weeks, and I think it’s ready to share finally!
Here’s a complete set of simple Blu-Ray cases that should fit any version of the films. Minimalist backs - no features listings, taglines, or synopses. Running times for the OT are based on Despecialized (and the logo blocks include Harmy’s logo, so they’re obviously meant for Despecialized, but nothing else specifically states as such).
These are heavily inspired by phildesfr’s awesome covers, and even use some assets he graciously provided in his MEGA links, including his textless variation of the theatrical TFA poster and some of his logos. I did heavily customize his AOTC logo, and the ESB logo I used is literally the one on the poster itself since it ended up landing in the right spot.
As for other stuff, the TFA logo I used is based on Owain Wilson’s, the TLJ logo I used is lifted from one of Jim Titus’ designs, and the alternate TFA poster is by Grzegorz “Gabz” Domaradzki.
So here they are - I may have to edit this later because I’m just uploading the full-size versions to imgur and they might clutter things up (and imgur might fuck with some resizing, I dunno), and I’ve gotta get off to work right now. In case that happens, here’s album links:

I really like the simplicity of these. Only thing I would change is adding a scroll or description of the movie on the back besides that. These are Great!

Well Well Well. I will no longer (for the time being) be able to update or create new artwork/covers. My only computer has bit the dust. Luckily I was able to back up my work, but it is stuck in limbo. I know I am not a huge contributor to the community but I like to think you have enjoyed what I put out so far. Hopefully, soon I will be able to afford a new PC to continue bringing more to you all.
I will reveal that I have been working on a huge project, that I have little done with because I want perfection on it. I am making cases similar to the Godzilla Criterion Collection ( http://www.geekedoutnation.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/CriterionGodzilla03.jpg ) for each movie. They will have the pop out character of each movie. Hopefully, I will be able to have these one day to share and release the files to you so you can get them printed.
But again, for now, I will be on a creation hiatus. Thanks for all the kind words on the creations I have released so far.

I noticed while poking around for disc art that your imgur link is down.
But also, after reading your comments about how you “don’t have access to Photoshop or anything” and “can’t open EPS files” I’d like to pass on a tip I picked up here on this forum.
GNU Image Manipulation Program or “GIMP” is a very versatile cousin of Photoshop which is completely free and can handle ESP files just fine. I recommend it if you’re still interested in making disc art.

Just noticed something. On the Obi Wan leaflet, Chapter 44 should probably have a different title. “Luke and Biggs” fits the scene from the SE, but Biggs is not in that scene in the DE. It’s a scene between Luke and Leia.
But I do think your choices of shots for your cover art are superb!

^ according to that ‘Chapters 24 & 44 were Chapter Titles with names from the Special Editions (‘Jabba The Hutt’ & ‘Luke & Biggs’)’ so may need changing - I just made up two titles to replace them in the link above.

Well, here we are. I have finished my set and it is now available to you all. I have spent a lot of time on this making this something special to me and hopefully something this community will love as well. This Is my custom set for you all to use!
The set includes:
1 Box sleeve for the 3 Movies with a guide to fold. (Box has been removed due to coming update that vastly improves Build design)
3 Covers with an inner image (if using blue case I recommend no inner image, I think it looks weird)
3 leaflets with a chapter guide on the inside
3 disc labels (my discs in image are placeholders, my CD printer died and only had these test one. yours will differ)
And 3 sets of mini lobby cards, 1 set for each movie.I printed the Covers and Leaflets on a standard double sided glossy paper
The Box and the Mini Lobby cards were printed on a card stock similar to collectible cards. The paper was also a matte finish.Without further ado here is the set!
