Info Wanted: ESB/ROTJ Audio Mix questions...
Time

Not sure how, but completely missed this at the time. The ESB mixes are as done as I will be able to make them. Outside of h_h taking up ESB, they are all synced and patched to match Harmy's release. That's the 80, 85 and 93 mixes, as well as the LD commentary with ambient 93 (I've also found DJ and ABC's Imperial Isolated Score goes great with these). To ROTJ, I sent out a test mix of the 83 but didn't get much feedback. I haven't gotten around to 85 or 93 syncs for ROTJ, as the 83 was the most exhaustive sync of all so far. I can reup them if there is interest.

Info Wanted: ESB/ROTJ Audio Mix questions...
Time

From when I had to sync the 80 and 85 mixes for ESB from Schorman's rips, I would say that they seem to be different mixes. There are more knowledgeable sources of wisdom in regards to SW mixes around here, but I would bet that the SF098-1117 mix is the 80 and the SF148-1242 is the 85. I didn't take note of them, but there were definitely multiple changes between the mixes, as I spent weeks staring at the peaks comparing them with the GOUT equivalents and each other.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

The reference Harmy has primarily used for this is an IB Technicolour print if I am not mistaken. The colors in SW restorations are always a hot topic, but I'm sure most here would not be able to take issue with the process Harmy has used to correct. There is a comparison slideshow floating around that compares the original bluray and the various versions of the project.

Digital Source for the '77 Stereo Mix
Time

I am well underway with the ROTJ mixes, and the PAL audio is definitely different than the NTSC when framerate adjusted, so as far as I can tell it is the best sync reference I can find. The ESB mixes are done I think. There are minor niggles I have with these, but most of them are problems inherent in the mixes. After repatching I think that the 'Faces' version of the 93 mix is not as good as the 'Definitive Collection' version, so that will likely be my candidate for the 93 mix. The 85 mix versions are also hard to tell apart, but I am leaning towards the Japanese Special Collection version over the Special Widescreen Edition version of that mix. I have been thinking about putting together lossless isolated score mixes, but the only lossless/uncompressed source is the ISOSCORE of Belbucus', which has film audio over the cue fade outs in the score. Additionally I think any work towards using CD sources is another undertaking entirely to what I am trying to do here. Anyway, a bit more progress with ROTJ and I will send out a test/evaluation version of the theatrical mix.

Info Wanted: Editdroid and the Isolated Score Mixes
Time

And the 93 mix overlaps the fade outs of the score throughout ISOSCORE. Thinking about using the EditDroid isolated score and ISOMIX isolated score as references to match the RCA/Victor soundtrack releases to the film scores. Does anyone know of any parts of the scores, they are in the films, that are not in the RCA/Victor releases? Or any other flaws of these releases?
