all of that would be very helpful, music man!

i wasnt really sure what to do with JP1 to improve it, but i think this music will help a great deal, coupled with a few specific scene trimmings

make sure you specifically shrink the special features as well, you can live with those not being full quality.

i always felt the sequence with the raptors at the end of JP2 is a strong enough finale. its a really exciting sequence, and doesnt feel as jokey and silly as the dino rampage.

i just done feel like it fits that movie. it has a big climax sequence with the raptors on the island, and then it just keeps going, except without half of the main characters.

i was thinking about it being a possible scene to add to JP3, since that movie is a bit sillier than the others to begin with. it could be a cool precredits scene, possibly replacing that stupid parasailing scene. that also gets dr. malcolm in the third film, which is cool.

Hey guys. i saw nobody had done anything with the film version of Rent, as there probably isnt much interest. however im quite a fan of the show and movie, so i took a crack at it.

this is a basic extended edition. It contains all the deleted scenes from the bonus features disc, plus i used the alternate ending which is more in line with the show.

this will be up on demonoid tomorrow, and im willing to trade it to anyone that so desires.

Hey Spence here with my next idea. I’d like to make the Jurassic Park films a lot less cheesy and a little more frightening. trim down a lot of the stuff including the children, and delete the over the top ending from Lost World.

Any body have any ideas?

Also, i havent got the Lost World deleted scenes. if anyone that does could somehow get them to me, either by rapidshare, torrent or mail, would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone, just thought id make a seperate post saying that the revised verison of The Matrix Squared is up on demonoid. It should be available via rapidshare soon as well.

This is just a more cleaned up version of my previous Matrix fan edit. It removes a lot of the technical glitches and bad cuts. it’s a more seamless experience now. I’m very pleased with the results.

if you download the disc, id love to hear some thoughts!

Just watched Redeemed, one of the most impressive fan edits i've seen. I hadn't seen either film in a long time, so i could barely tell where things were removed and/or added. All around a great fan edit, recommended to everyone.

yep, im going to include the montage ending, using footage from all three films, and the animatrix "Kid's Story Ending", plus the original matrix squared ending, the same as the one i used but with Neo saying "where we go from there is a choice i leave to you" over the final shot.

the disc will also include all of the fight scenes from the two movies that were not used in the edit. that way if you want to watch the seraph vs. neo fight scene or the burly brawl in its entirety, they are included on the disc.

well, since it'd be quite impossible for one or two people to get a lot of interviews on film, it might be easier to do phone interviews, and maybe show clips/covers for edits that that person/group did. this method would allow us to interview virtually anybody.

a lot of this would have to be in arranging clips/images and things with voice over.

ReverendBeastly, you sound pretty into it. shoot me an e-mail if you got some good ideas. I'd really like to work on this, it'd be a great document of what we are doing, and prove that we aren't pirating/ruining anybody's work.

Hey guys, this might be a little off topic, but i thought maybe it’d be awesome to put together a documentary about fan edits.

It could address the beginings of fan edits (phantom editor, things like that), interviews with editors about why we do it, and the technology that lets us do it.

This could be a very interesting and entertaining project to put together, and could possibly open peoples eyes up to the world of fan edits. It wouldn’t have to be long, like 30 minutes-ish, so that it would be easy to distribute and spread around the internet.

Any thoughts or ideas?

i do not think ill continue work on the extended edition. my love is for Squared, and T-Hope will put out an amazing final product.

i'm too obsessed with polishing squared to put time into an extended edition/

i have the edit completely finished, but i have a request.

i'd like to have a nice dvd to go with this edit. i'm working on having some special features and things of that sort. I'd like to have some nice menus for it.

basically, im looking for someone to actually put together the dvd. make the menus and things like that. i'm not good at that and id rather let someone who is good at have a go.
