What if Disney decided to remake the OT?

There’s no need to remake the OT. Just leave it the way it was… before all the hideous changes.

There is a need £££££

Funny, that the list of remakes on the WIKI, mentions the Abbot & Costello Meet the Invisible Man. When it’s really a comedy/parody of the original Universal Monster movie. That’s sorta like saying Spaceballs, is a remake of Star Wars.

ROTJ is the best Star Wars film... discuss!
Time

I don’t know why people would hate ROTJ. It finishes the OT, and has a nice array of characters, battles, comedy and no Hayden Christensen (well until George mucked it all up).

Reminds me of another Trilogy, the Godfather Trilogy. Not a lot of people like the 3rd movie. It may not be as perfect as 1 or 2, but it finishes the story and has variety of characters and great music like the other 2.
Didn’t want to “spoil” it, just in case some people here haven’t seen it yet.

@Lord Haseo, Good to hear not everyone seemingly “hates” the start of the ST with TFA.

Are you kidding ? Well, here on OT.com the majority loves TFA. But it’s not (or “no longer”) the case in the outside world. How many times have I heard these past few weeks “R1 rocks, TFA sucked so much, at last a good SW movie !” ? Too many. People are now accepting the fact that TFA is PT quality (even less…) with an OT skin (people IRL, don’t forget, not here). Pretty sure next december will be “Episode 8 rocks, R1 sucked so much, at last a good SW movie !”…

Oh ok, my mistake, I thought there was more hate with TFA. I’m glad that there isn’t, because I think it was a nice change after the PT. Sure, the PT is not perfect, but still deserves to be seen.

Are the Prequels Even Worth Watching Once?
Time

I think the PT should be watched, atleast once. It gives backstory to our beloved Star Wars Universe.
Is it perfect, no, it’s not, but deserves a chance to be seen by anyone who wishes to watch them.
Should the PT be seen before OT? No, it shouldn’t, since it would ruin a spoil a lot of the key moments in the OT.

I’ll probably be destroyed for what I wrote, but whatever, it’s the Internet.

@Lord Haseo, Good to hear not everyone seemingly “hates” the start of the ST with TFA. Why are you worried about IX? Is it because of the death of Carrie Fisher, and how she was supposed to have a bigger role in it? If that’s the case, I just hope they do a good job with it.

Sorry for veering off topic… I have to say, the begging of R1 was a bit abbrupt, and could’ve been longer to setup the scene, before it starts off almost immediately with the Empire finding their lost scientist.
