oh sorry! i was trying to think about what could be done with editing, but your right about the last one i think since that would change the story. i might try my anakin idea with editing but i don’t know if that will flow right i feel like it won’t feel natural but its just for fun sort of. But sorry if this is the wrong place i won’t talk about this again unless I can make a good enough edit of it,. sorry again!

Heres my idea that would change both the originals and the sequels- DON’T KILL OFF DARTH VADER in Return of the Jedi. 😮 He would still throw the emperor down the shaft and turn good, but he doesn’t take his mask off. Then have him appear in the SEQUELS using other james earl jones dialogue and other footage. Then finally in Episode 9 he would kill the Emperor again and Luke (who would also have to survive, unless we can somehow make it Ben there too) takes his mask off. That way the prophecy thing is kept, Anakin has years to be redeemed, and Sebastian Shaw would then be the right age to play Anakin as an old man. I don’t know maybe this is too much, i was thinking about doing this in my 3 in one but i also don’t want to ruin Reys arc and Lukes arc. What would be so nice and beautiful would be Rey, Ben, Leia, Luke and Anakin, the whole skywalker family all against Palpatine and all not as ghosts but alive, but I don’t know if this is possible.

this is really cool! i’m planning a 3-in-1 too that was sort of similar at the start but with more TROS things, my idea for a Luke/Han scene was to take some of Han’s lines when he meets Ben like “hey kid” and “leave here with me, come home, we miss you.”, and have him say these things to Luke. Mark Hamill could say “my old friend” and “han” and he also has lines from the not star wars but sci-fi wing commander where he says things like “nice to fly with you again” and stuff that he could say to Han. I just WISH we could get Luke, Han and Leia in the same scene, maybe merge Luke meeting Leia and Leia talking to Han about Ben? I don’t know if that’s possible. But there are some really nice ideas here, I love 3 in ones!

I actually planned on making a sock account, since I have never been very active here and sort of wanted a fresh start when I actually start editing, (then again, i’m not a adult, sooooo…) but I’m not going to do that after all after stuff like this, sock accounts are just a bad idea. If Force Ghost Recon has actually apologized, instead of hiding behind new names, it would be a different story, and I say this as a LGBTQ person. But i have lost all respect for him. Yikes.

I’m making a 3 in 1 of the trilogy once TROS is available, my goal is to center it more around the original characters, with Rey as a viewpoint character sort of like Anakin in TPM or Luke in ANH. But I also really want to focus on the relationship between Leia, Han and Ben. The problem is there are a lot of subplots that will have to go, I’m trying hard to include Finn and Poe too, but probably in smaller roles. As for Maz, I really want to include her, since she is the only main new alien character in the sequels so far, and I think Star Wars needs that.
My edit won’t be a definitive cut because of all of this, more of a experiment.
A Kylo centric version would be very interesting though, sort of a reverse version of the prequels.

I also suspected it was him, between a similar round avatar, same site links and even working on the exact same fanedits! I just regret not saying anything sooner- I loved his edits so much, and I didn’t understand why he had been banned. But wow, knowing the context, that is pretty awful. Yes, he is a talented fan editor, but that sort of comment is just totally inappropriate and uncalled for. Maybe he has changed since then, idk, but his behavior here to this day is still so imature. Its such a shame, I really did enjoy his edits, but until he apologizes for his homophobic comments, I can’t support him anymore. :’(

I like parts of the prequels, but that would be interesting.
I sort of want to make a trilogy edit that combines the 3 movies of each trilogy into one film to create only 3 long episodes…

I’m making a 3 in 1 edit of the sequel trilogy, I have some ideas for a pretty radical edit, but of course I need to wait until The Rise of Skywalker is out to finalize the plans. While I like the sequels, I want to make an edit with Leia, Luke and Han all in the same film… the problem is, while there is lots of awesome footage that can be used, they are never all in the same place together, so I worry about it feeling sort of choppy and random, but I’m hoping to create a coherent plot that will also focus on the new characters as well. But to create a 3 in 1 edit, a lot has to be cut out or rearranged, its going to be hard but I think it will be a fun experiment that will hopefully be enjoyable.

I really loved your Ancient Lore fanedit, so I’m curious to see what you do here. Im saving working on my sequel trilogy edits until after Rise of Skywalker is released, but Ive actually liked the sequel trilogy so far. But your changes sound interesting- I especially like the removal of Snoke and centering the story around Rey.
Will there also be color corrections and music and dialogue changes like The Ancient Lore? because that was amazing.

I am in the early stages of an edit that would be a 3 in 1 version of the Sequel Trilogy- I have lots of ideas, but they may change once IX comes out, and I won’t be able to start editing until it is available- while my story is mostly centered around Leia, Han, and Luke, Rey would start out as a “viewpoint character”, much like Luke in the originals and we would follow her as she becomes a hero by the end. But the idea of her starting as a Jedi in training instead of a scavenger is interesting, I’m very curious about this!

Beautiful edit! When I first heard “Holdo replaced with Luke”, I wondered how that could possibly work, this is a very creative idea. I like this much better than the “Luke saves Leia” version, even if I still wish it was Leia who did the Hyperspace ramming…
