STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

If you want Rontos, watch them on your 2004 DVD, what is the big problem? Ady can put T-rex in there if he wants, it's his edit, we can be happy he is doing it. You can always choose not to watch it.

Of course! But you are mountains out of molehiles with everything I said. Of course he can make and edit any way he wants, and I cannot wait to see it!

Also, you said you got rid of the bucking Ronto shot with the Jawa because it was outside the cantina, but it was altered by ILM and more buildings were added to the background to disguise the fact, you could disguise it more and still paint out or alter part of the Cantina looking part and keep the shot. Or you could paint out Luke's Landspeeder zooming by it, or both. I know some here hate all slapstick, because it makes they think it's all childish, but as my wife said when I was discussing this with her, sometimes things like this happens in real life, things bump into other things in bustling city life.

No, it was partly that reason but i got rid of that one mainly because it was plain stupid. It was a sign of things to come with the PT and was a totally different kind of humour than we see in the OT so it just had to go

Well that's fine, but I didn't see it as any different than the Mouse droid vs Chewie on the Death Star type of humor. I like the Rontos because I think they add to the variety of the enviroment. Difference of Opinion, fine, but is there way you could include it as a supplement on the DVD or do I have to go to my 2004 DVD to see it again? Thanks anyway!

Page 5 is where he had a revised list of changes and it mention the original dianoga being put in.

I knew I'd get raked over the coals, oh well. I don't see how I was being a jerk at all, he can just as easily reject my suggestions, it's not like I am forcing anything. Some people in here have an angry/hostile mentality.

Is there a thread yet for suggestions on ESB Revisited?

I know I am gonna get raked over the coals for daring to say anything but.......

Few more things:

When Luke ignites the lightsaber in Kenobi's house, I see some king of cord or something in his sleeve under the sabe hilt? I see something there, it's a quick and fleeting thing as he moves the saber around, but maybe it's a bracelet or something. I just wondered if it was a cord like you painted out of the Kenobi saber later in the movie during the duel.

You said you got rid of all the floating spy droids in Mos Eisley, again I say why? Especially the one in the alley where C3PO and R2 are hiding behind that door. I don't see how that part was slap-sticky.

"61. Put the original Dianoga back in the trash compactor"

Why, you didn't like the blinking Dianoga? It added more life to it.

Also, you said you got rid of the bucking Ronto shot with the Jawa because it was outside the cantina, but it was altered by ILM and more buildings were added to the background to disguise the fact, you could disguise it more and still paint out or alter part of the Cantina looking part and keep the shot. Now I don't wanna be slapped for speaking my mind, it may be too late to change anything anyway, but I just felt like getting this out there. I really appreciate the long hard work gone into this edit and the clips I've seen are extremely well done and I am looking forward to it!

Then what's the point of posting at all if we cannot add suggestions or at least as some questions? I guess that's why you posted, only to criticize another's (me) posting.

I've given a lot of praise already, I guess that's all were allowed to post anymore according to you. We can't ask questions or give suggestions.

OK, but I would have left it, but it's a personal choice, I personally liked the Rontos, and do we still see any other than far off ones? I meanone could argue that any CG creature was put there out of whimsy. Did you get rid the Ronto the guy has on a leash just as they pull up to the Cantina?

Two quick questions ady

Did you fix the person walking away behind Han near cockpit when they escape Tatooine? I believe it was Obi-Wan but he was sitting by this time so it did not make sense.

Why did you get rid of both Rontos in the sequence where the Stormtroopers stop the landspeeder, I can understand getting rid of the one that crosses so close to the camera, but why the one there in the background at the tail end of the sequence?

Ian McDiarmid's performance in the PT (also the OT) is memorable and absolutely enthralling

I don't believe there was a problem with the make-up, we saw him ONLY hooded in ROTJ, in ROTS we saw him unhooded and also in many various lighting conditions, in ROTJ he was pretty much in only ONE lighting condition. I assure you if that hood was flipped down in ROTJ and in several different lighting conditions people would be saying the same thing about the ROTJ make-up.

A rare unhooded Ian in ROTJ

A quick question. I read that Vader's ANH chest box had blinking lights added, yet in the trailer I didn't see any. Maybe it's the lower res quality keeping me from seeing. Also, did you remove "You father wanted you to have this when you were old enough." Or just the first part of the line? Technically you could probably make the line, "I wanted you to have this when you were old enough." I believe you could take Guinness saying "I" from another part of the films.

I don't see how exactly a syringe absolutely makes something out of date. It's more to do with aesthetics than technology, I don't see it as anymore out of date than AT-AT's having legs when in the SW Universe you have the ability to hover or fly. It's like the hairstyles in ANH, they have nothing to do with technology. Sideburns were popular in the seventies but they were not in the 40s or 50s, which could represent the prequels era, if you understand what I mean.

Wow! What an amazing trailer! I wish I could see even more! What are the chances of me having a DVD copy of this entire movie by next summer? I really want one!
