Simon Pegg and JJ Abrams hate them too. I think the South Park duo as well. Roger Ebert is a very strange case.

"Sounds like a complete dicatorship to me"
"Well, if it works..."
You dog!
It's amazing how many people think these discs look alright. Are their eyes fooling them?
The new music for Return of the Jedi I like better than Yub Nub, feels like a more proper ending. And this will be probably against the majority, but I like how the Binary Sunset looks in the SE.
Actually Vader is already breathing heavily after Luke has cut his hand. The Emperor thingy only made it worse.

I don't remember the Gungans speaking anything but their annoying/racist version of English.
Well, when the trio arrives at the Gungan city there are 2 citizens saying something in Gungan, which I believe translates to:
"Look over there!"
2 of them at least. Whenever there are Gungans speaking in front of humans they'll speak in english. Oh well, when Nass tell Jar Jar he will become a general they're both alone.
Inconsistencies in the Star Wars saga? No way!
How can someone who dislikes the prequels avoid being called a basher and someone who does a gusher? What makes one a normal SW fan?
But the Toho Kong films are awesome!
I find it hard to use numbers but this how I'd rank them from best to worst:
Empire
A New Hope
Jedi
Sith
Menace
Ewok films
Clones
Holiday Special
The Turkish Star Wars beats all of them though in the sense that it's the worst and best SW at the same time.
If I'm not mistaken all of the Star Wars films differ greatly from the shooting scripts but it's more radical in the prequels' case.
Midichlorians. One of the most controversial aspects of the PT. The one that seems to have been more easily fixed and it mostly involves removing dialogue. However what if there was a way to include the midichlorians as a conservative aspect of the Jedi order?
That is to say, instead of Qui-gon having faith in Anakin because of his midicount, Mace should demand a count (in my interpretations they are related to the force but having lots of them could very well mean nothing). Dubbing would be requiered for this, but I believe the Jedis being conservative is one of the better devices in that trilogy and needs reinforcement.
Whenever Ken says "stop it!" he reminds me of Waldo the Bird from Twin Peaks.
"Leo No! Stop it! Stop it!".
I think the real shot that'll reveal if LFL has learned something since 2004 is the one in Jedi with the two sabers crossing. If that looks the same as before, then the Blu is an official failure.
I was hoping that since the previous release was super blue this one would be super purple! 20 years from now you'll have a differently colared release. Messed up DVD, messed up Blu-ray, collect them all!
Why would they fix something that in their eyes is not an error?
Maybe an editing genius can do a hybrid Dewback that's seen on the distance as in the OOT but moves his head around and roars as in the SE. I'm talking about the first shot we ever see the thing.
LOL, I first read "the bizarre OT nature of the sequence"!

I've found some a good number of edits for it, but some of them either trim things I'm a fan of, such as the Yoda vs. Palpatine duel...Sorry, I stopped reading after this.
Heh. Can you seriously explain why everybody hates that fight so much?
It's commonly agreed the duel reduces Palpatine and Yoda to cartoon characters, and that most the antics present are unintentionally funny.
Recycling stuff, that happens with practical effects too.
Carnosaur (1993)
Very enjoyable junk. If not for rather primitive effects work, the film actually had some plot to go for, with Ladd's character being something more fleshed out than you'd expect from this kind of film. The manner in which the T-Rex if offed is a bit cruel, especially considering the creature didn't go on a bloody rampage. Still, much of the flaws present are the reason I love B-movies.
The Asian accents the Nemoidians have (one of the many controversial aspects) I actually dig, they remind me of the AIP dubs for the Godzilla movies.
Not so much a structure problem, rather the use of plural (rape) to follow a singular word (stuff). The correct sentence would have been "Well many agree that stuff like the midichlorians, frog Yoda, spastic lightsaber battles, etc; rapes what we love about the OOT (what's the second "O" for?)."
As for the Raped Star Wars ordeal, would "ruined" be a better term?
