SIDEBAR FOR DARTH_ENDER: I'm currently reading "Xenocide".  :P  (And yes I have read the two the preceded it.  Ender's Game is a classic, but Speaker for the Dead was amazing.  A bit pretentious in writing style at times, but the story was extremely captivating)

 Here here.  I used to like you, but your recent posts here in off-topic have been full of assholery and tomdicknaciousness.  And coming from a perfect gentlemen like me you know it's something.

For what it's worth, I agree with some of what you say, but it's how you say it and your attitude towards the people that disagree with it.  I'm not a christian either, but I don't see people that are Christians as inferior, less intelligent, or ignorant just because they see the world differently.  They may be right and I may be wrong, who knows?  It's your attitude.

To be fair, Darth_ID has been targeting him lately, seeking him out in threads where he has no contributions to make and simply wants to mock whatever contribution Warbler made.  Want proof?  Check out his pride in the ignore thread where he boasts about how he was skillful enough to make Warbler ignore him.  Just check around, he's been mocking specifically Warb just for the sake of doing so, I know the behavior I did it when I was in junior high.

(I posted this almost exact thing in another thread but I thought I would copy it here just to clear things up in this thread for any that might read this thread but not the other and want to be in the loop:)

It's quite alright, you don't have anything to apologize for Warb.  I was almost in the same boat as you last night, I had been awake for over 24 hours straight because wal mart was so kind as to schedule me two 8 hour shifts which one began only 7 hours after the other ended.  (7 hours in between full shifts.  Count 1 hour to get ready before the second shift, at least 3 hours to unwind and fall asleep after the first shift and that left me with only 3 hours and I decided I was better off just staying up  than trying to sleep for 3, possibly less hours) so by the time I ended up here last night I was so out of my mind I wasn't thinking straight at all.  Not only was I totally exhausted, but there's also to consider (not that I'm proud of this but still it's relevant here) that there was also 2 days worth of drinking that I hadn't gotten to sleep off yet.  (Not that I'm normally the sort of drunk that gets belligerent and insulting... quite the opposite... I'm the normally the kind of drunk that makes me super friendly and want to hug everybody and tell them I love them, but two days worth of drinking without any sleep made it affect me completely differently that day).  I even made that stupid picture my banner on my facebook profile ugggh what was I thinking....

I also, I take back my statement of mutual loss of respect with you. 

Bonus remark not included in the other post: In the future if I do feel the need to share a thought I shall do so more respectfully.  And also I didn't even realize that this Sunday was Easter.  You told me it was and that it was that week, but it just slid right by me/didn't register with me.

I really don't think it's so much to ask to let him and any others have a thread for them to discuss their own religion.  In fact I thought about suggesting it in the religion thread but forgot to do so.  We're allowed to have threads about whatever we want, can't you belittle and mock it in... I don't know... ANY OTHER THREAD?

I know when I've worn out my welcome.  And I say that with no malice of any kind.  I seem to have trouble controlling my tact over the internet.  I'm not offensive or tactless in person, but on the internet it would seem my sarcastic nature gets the best of me.

 You seem to have mistaken the 'religion' thread for the 'Christian monopoly' thread.  Of course you have the right to share your pictures and opinions, but that doesn't mean I don't have the right to share my opinions too.

However, I took the picture down out of respect for darth_ender and others.  It was insensitive.  I apologize for the picture, but not for my opinion.

Also, it should be noted that my disrespect for God for his desire for humans to have stayed ignorant like animals goes only to God himself, not christians.  And I am not saying that christians are ignorant.  On the contrary, I'm saying that christianity's lack of ignorance is contrary to God's original design, and I find that something hard to accept.

And I don't really think Praetor even posted anything anti-religious so I don't see why you're mad at him.

I assure you, if you want to post more pictures that re significant to you I will not mock them.  However, I can't promise to keep silent my feelings on religion.  This is the thread for discussing religion, not the 'christians only' thread where you guys conduct an e-worship service and nobody with a different opinion is allowed to have a voice.  I respect your right to worship God and voice your thoughts, however, this is the thread for religious discussion and I have a right to my opinion as well.

Bingo may or may not want to run me off, but it sure seems like some(Post Praetorian and Possessed and perhaps others) are trying to run me off so that Bingo will return.  Maybe I am wrong but it does look that way to me.  Just take a look at the relgion thread.

And that may be, but the fact that our intelligence as humans (some of us anyway) is contrary to God's design makes it hard for me to love or respect him/her.
