Machete Order? mmm
Time

I’d be open to presenting the story thus far for a newcomer as:
Rogue One, 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6, 7

yeah almost like my machete order, but i take off TPM, they introduce the characters again in the AotC anyway, maybe we loose the reveal that Anakin’s mother is a captive slave on Tatooine but we get it in AtoC and TrofS.

mine is: R1, SW, ESB, AotC, TrofS, TrofJ and TFA (R1,4,5,2,3,6, and 7)

Ok guys, i have read and watch youtube videos abouts this (the machete order), when i do my star wars marathon i watch it in order (1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7), i know that the machete order take you staight to the point in the history, but i feel that a lot of infos can be lost in the machete order, i say this because a lot of people out there recommend to knew people to do the machete order and forget about the regular order regarding to watch the star wars movies. of course, i love and stay with the regular order, but like the machete order too. is in my case that know the whole star wars movie history…what do you think about the machete order?

oojason’s idea of “reusing” an existing box set is an Excellent idea! You can get one dirt cheap @ a Pawn shop, like $5? The recover it with your own designs. I wish I would have thought of that before I make my box sets.

Getting the printout on a large enough paper to glue to the whole box in 1 piece was the tricky part. I used Bristol Board? Depends on how rigid you want the end result to be? Keep in mind the thicker it is the harder to cut & bend.

The nice thing about making your own is once you figure it out, you want to make another, then another!

My first set has a box within a box, my 2nd set was made to look like an old style Film shipping box, with straps.

I screwed up calling the 1977 A New Hope…as it was just Star Wars in 77.

box1!

box2!

GOOD Luck. Just take your time & measure, measure, measure!

looks great 😃 thanks for the advice

Hi Omar, it depends on the thickness of the card you are going to use for your 3 dvd disc boxset, but the measurements of one of my sets is… height is 190mm, width is 144mm, and the depth is 48mm.

I’d have a practice go first - or buy a cheap 3 disc boxset from a local market, car boot sale or a cheap shop - and have a play around with that to get it just right for the type of boxset you want to build.

Good luck 😃

Thank you very much, is the standard card, i really appreciate it , thanks again 😃

Ok, got it, another question, v3.0 will be the final version of all the 3 episodes? should i wait v3.0 to burn them?

It will be quite some time before they are released, so it depends on how soon you want to burn a copy.

yeah, indeed, well i will born a copy of this actual versions to save HDD space, thanks 😃

Hi guys, i really appreciate all the effort you all made to do this edition,
i have a few question (pls dont see me like noob, i’m a noob on this about versions x.x and those things hahaha)…my question is about “A New Hope” there’s the v2.5 and v2.7 ( I downloaded the v2.7) so, is there something special in the v2.5 that me as a star wars fan must have or with the v2.7 i have everything like corrections and other technical issues that the v2.5 have?..for my last question there will be more fixes more versions? for me the v2.7 is beautiful and complete, i dont have to worry or me as a fan have to download the v2.5 to get something special? what about RETURN OF THE JEDI - GRINDHOUSE 35mm LPP? i have it in the RETURN OF THE JEDI - DESPECIALIZED EDITION v2.5?

sorry for my english and thanks again 😃
