Team Negative1 - The Empire Strikes Back 1980 - 35mm Theatrical Version (Released)

Thanks for replying. I was trying to make a little joke referring to the 10 pages of angst over the rounded corners in Harmy's TESB.  A *very* little joke, apparently.

I can't wait for the day that I can show my kids the SW trilogy the way they're supposed to look!  Thanks to the team for all of this work, and for the updates and samples.

As to the rounded corners, they were there from the very first WP and no one's complained about them until now, so they are obviously not a big deal and since I like them and it would be a serious hassle to remove them now, even if I wanted to, I don't see any point in discussing them any further.

Well I think it is worth some discussion. It's the one change that goes against the spirit of the project by introducing something that wasn't there originally. Secondly, though a minor concern. In the future if someone was working on an ESB fanedit or any kind of fan project for whatever reason nothing from this project could be used because of it. If it's too late in the process to undo okay, but it just seems like a questionable decision is all.

I think Harmy has made himself clear.  And they're only noticable after someone points them out!  I'd sure as hell rather Harmy finish TESB 2.0 and then ROTJ 2.0 instead of wasting time tweaking the corners.

Team Negative1 - Return of the Jedi 1983 - 35mm Theatrical Version (unfinished project)
Time

I've never seen the JEDI SE.  After seeing the comments about it here, I made the mistake of searching for Jedi Rocks on Youtube.  It's HORRIBLE!  They butchered that scene.  I also found the end scene with the added "Noooooo".  It's horrendous.  Thank God you guys are giving us a proper home release of the theatrical version (some day).

I've been thinking about JEDI lately, and I think one reason I found it so disappointing is that I waited a long 3 years after EMPIRE to see it.  EMPIRE was well worth the wait, but JEDI wasn't.

I think if I was a youngin' who plopped his ass on a couch and watched all 3 movies for the first time, JEDI wouldn't have been that bad.

Listen, Harmy.  I don't want excuses, and I don't want updates on your computer or your life.  I simply want releases, and fast.

Just kidding!  I really just wanted to say how much I appreciate what you've done so far, and the work you continue to do.  It's fantastic that I can sit down with my kids and watch the unbutchered version of Star Wars in HD.

We've sure come a *long* way since Cowclops v2!

Hey gang,
If you have any requests for SW DVDs...you can make them here. I have a fairly decent Star Wars collection...and if I have them I'll oblige.

I'd very much appreciate a posting of the Lightsaber Montage. My DVDR and backup DVDR of it have CRC errors, and I can't copy either one.

Thanks!
Pib

Hi again. I could really use the Montage, if someone could post it, or provide a torrent.

Thanks!

You dick! You *promised* that you'd u/l them yesterday!

Seriously, THANK YOU for up-ing them. And THANKS to Cowclops,
TR47, Rikter, and everyone else involved. It's awesome seeing these
movies as I did in '77/'80'/83.
