Discussion in the Star Wars forum: http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Carrie-Fisher-Suffers-Major-Heart-Attack/id/52707
No, only BD-RE (Blu-ray Disc Recordable Erasable) discs can be erased and re-recorded. Your shop-bought Blu-rays will be on pressed discs.
Read the rules please:
"No discussions about financial transactions except for the buying, selling, or trading of official retail media."

Ah, OK. A more descriptive thread title would have helped.
Should this be in the Fan Edit section?
I think that image is an architect’s CG visualisation.
Not a random pic - this building contains Lucasfilm’s Singapore headquarters:
There’s a long thread on the subject here:

Post your giraffe gifs.
Updated the first post. According to Star Wars Year By Year the tractor beam line was first included in the July 1978 theatrical re-release.
Virgin Media closed their webspace service (including ntlworld.com) in April this year. I was looking for The Starkiller’s Guide to The Star Wars Mono Sound Mix that Russ had hosted there, it’s available on the Wayback Machine but with no audio samples. However this was posted in another thread which gives a good comparison of the audio differences: https://youtu.be/aeXpcYcZNDw
“To infinity… and beyond!”
Sounds like you used the Live File System (Windows refers to this as “Like a USB flash drive”) instead of a mastered disc format.
What’s recommended instead?
Depends what you are wanting to do.
Avidemux maybe?
Why are you using VirtualDubMod? It’s extremely outdated.
“Shoot straight, you bastards.”
Yes, the blu rays. Also, wrong forum.

The new comparison clip is on the facebook page. I have no idea how to post the link to that post here. ( C’mom Jay, get this editor sorted out so we can start reusing this site 😉 )
