Shimraa if you take a closer look at the quote you quoted then you will see loads of examples. First he says the ships are fake in the PT compared to the OT. (Which I agree, they are cool looking but the are fake a model would have been better), then there is too much CGI(which I agree, you do not feel like you are "in" the PT. I feel like I am just watch TV), next he says the battle scenes were cheesy and lame, the ships looked cartoonish, and the feel was COMPLETELY different than the originals( I liked the battle sceens but it did not have the same feel as the OT...also the cheesy one liners have got to go, how about 2PO's infamous "what a drag line" I hope everybody hated that line as much as me. Finally he says the PT is created for preteens, which I think is plainly obvious. One thing that bothers me is the PT and the OT have nothing in commen besides being called Star Wars. Where are the classic Star Wars sceen wipes? Where is the great story? Where is the great script? Where is the freakin great acting? TOO MUCH CGI. What is Yoda CGI? He looked great in the OT! I could go on all day about this. I do have one other thing that has been bothering me...Limbo, for you to say "Another thing in my belief if you hate a Star Wars movie you are not a Star Wars fan." is probably the STUPIDEST thing I have EVER heard. Just because you don't like something you are not a fan? You might want to come out from behind that rock you live under and get a grip on reality jackass. The PT were OK, thay are not even in the same class as the OT. why don't you go watch the OT then the PT there is no comparision. Lucas has lost what is good about the Star Wars Trilogy and fell into the trap of flashy movie making. Memo to George Lucas how about you let somebody else direct and write the next movie( and I know that iEpisode 3 is already in production)but buy some great miracle that episode 3 is everything I thought it should be all is forgiven.

But that isn't me. I just think some of the dialogue--especially the one-liners--in Attack of the Clones is incredibly annoying, and the fireplace scene was horrible. And some of the shots of Coruscant look fake, especcially durning the chase scene


I feel exactly the same!!! THe one liners are corny, the stories are terrible, the one good thing in PM (Darth Maul) they kill off. Lucas has lost it. He better pull it together for Episode 3. I don't want this to seem like I a am now a Star Wars hater, but I have been disappointed so far.

Jimbo...I looked at some of your past posts and I agree with most of them, but the acting...was terrible! The story was average and to much CGI. Look back at the past trilogy, the acting was great. The stories were even better (especially the dialoge). There is way to many one liners and I think GL went for humor way to much instead of making a serious action film (like the originals). Also the style of shooting could have matched the style of the old films a little better(He CGI's everything). Overall I like the new films but the don't even compare to the originals, but all can be forgiven with a killer episode 3.

I was on starwars.com today and they had an interesting topic. The last line of episode 3, I have my thoughts...I think you should have ben and yoda talking about the future of the jedi and how they are only a few left then you cut to dark room with noice in the background...then you hear vader breathing and coming up from the bottom of the screen vader lifts his head and you see the mask. After that the movie ends with one more breathe then the credits. I think that would be a good movemnet into ANH. Any other opinions?

We might have already had this conversation but I did not see one. I know many people on this site are Natalie fans but I myself am a huge Carrie Fisher fan. Let me explain why...First she is the original Star Wars chick(that's got to count for something), next for the critics her acting is much better. I can not get the image of that horrible sceen when Natalie falls out of the transport in AOTC gets up and runs away(terrible) and lastly in ROTJ in Jabba's palace...HELLO...she has never looked hotter! Natalie might be younger but she has nothing on Carrie Fisher. What does everybody else think?
