On the one hand I enjoy the symmetry but on the other I think for a new trilogy it should have a new color scheme. I think a yellow-ish gold would be preferable and red for “The Last Jedi”.

On a similar note, I feel R1 should have a turquoise color scheme.

Actually I’d argue Krennic would fit best since he is the one who arguably drives the plot forward and for the picture it should be a picture of Scarif with the building front and center. I’ll try and do a mock-up but I’m good at editing an already existing picture. Not so much from scratch. Can you link me the font used for the “Faces” set?

Another I guess would be a Death Trooper.

Love them! I always preferred the “Faces” set. Just a bit of criticism, the blurb on the back of ROTS contains several spelling errors like figting, ars, ar,y, and Grevous. Please consider changing them. Also, you should take out the part about Dooku still in hiding as that doesn’t make sense.

Otherwise I love these sets.

Thanks! The base you made was already awesome, I just made a few minor tweaks is all plus I liked the George Lucas message so I wanted to include that.

Well I did some nipping and tucking of my own but I figured I’d post it here. It’s largely the same as what oojason has already done but I’ve scaled the cover to be more in line with the “Faces” dvd covers that were by the original creator of this thread.

It is but I’ve just finished frankensteining my version together using GIMP and once you get the hang of it, it comes in handy.

Also love the trilogy covers you did! Now I can take all my discs and put them in one convenient case! Think I might do a 4th disc which will have both “From Star Wars To Jedi” and “The Making Of Star Wars” and if I can fit it “Empire Of Dreams”.

To help fill up that bit of empty space you could add a version that says “Also includes:” and have pictures of “The Making Of Star Wars” and “From Star Wars To Jedi”.

Loving the “Faces” inspired covers man! Maybe it’s strange but I just prefer these versions as the 1995 set was the one I was exposed to as a kid by my parents (more my mom than my dad as see saw the original Star Wars in '77).

I’m having trouble tracking down a usb box though as the ones linked to don’t ship to the states sadly 😦

The good thing with the usb covers is that you can put any image 8.5cm x 8cm in 😃

(^ or whatever size the usb picture sleeve is. The cheaper usb boxes without the photo sleeve would probably look decent with a sticker on too.)

It’s a decent quality box (looks a bit better in real life than in the photo above) - with a magnetic seal and sponge surrounding for the all important USB drive.

Should look decent on the shelf next to the various OT dvd sets etc 😃

I like this idea of a USB cover! Can you do one for the 1995 version of the trilogy? I always did prefer the “Faces” set.

Can anyone help recreate the artwork for the boxset the tapes were housed in? Not as in the individual covers but the artwork for the boxset?

I would hope they would someday. Course in the case of Episode IV they’ll have to work out a deal with Fox as while Disney owns the prints, Fox has perpetual distribution rights.

Hey everyone, this is my first time here and I’m blown away by the level of creativity people here have! I recently got my hands on Harmy’s Despecialized Editions and printed out covers for them on DVD using the 1995 “Faces” covers but I was wondering if anyone could do a box set template for DVD of the box set those videos came in.
