Well, there's always a first time for everything.

For instance, have you ever been kicked in the balls? I have, many times, and after the first time...you want more and more.

Oh I see then... What you need is THAT (in English the title would give something like "The Father Christmas is a Garbage")...

H.i.l.a.r.i.o.u.s !

Though you would need to understand french.

The Empire Strikes Back IMPERIAL "AUDIOPHILE" EDITION - Restored & Remastered Score - J. Williams & LSO (Released)
Time

Hi Junkanoo

The "stuff" TRIFORCE was referring to were my older attempts of improving the sound of the ESB set. There have been 4 or 5 before the "Audiophile Edition" (3CDs-double set), and the definitive "Imperial Audiophile Edition" (5CDs+1DVD-triple set). The only ones that I will keep for myself are these two (the AE for "historical importance"...). Hope it clears it all.

As for the rest of your post, I admit I'm not used to forums and then hardly understand when it seems there's quite a bunch of people who are waiting for your project to be released but still nobody speaks or wants to manifest interest. Thus, misunderstandings take birth like on tehparadox where they were watching the project from there and people said "hey! He's gonna share it in private!...Blahblah"... when I just warned it would be if nobody cared, indeed.

All depended in the interest shown in here. I've made those threads for this at OT.com, no? So, what's fair?

The project(s) have been announced long enough to let people the time to say they were interested, to share thoughts on what has been provided as samples... Then a daily checking at OT.com with not the least comment for months when you're working on such project (AE thread) and made everything to explain and to compare the improvements isn't encouraging at all.

... But I've dealed with my frustration with the help of some people and in the end:

The AE has been released (edit: and let's be fair, it has had a lot of feedbacks, so I'm glad), the IAE has been entirely uploaded especially thanks to the encouragement and the warm feelings of Steb74 by pm (I could have kept this definitive fix just for myself as it's a headache to upload from my computer), so all ends well and I wish you all the luck to find the IAE in it's entirety.

Now I'm not a SW fan especially and if the community wants to preserve the IAE they're most welcome. Just forget the author, he's not a long term resident here and not necessarily a nice guy. ;)

Thanks a lot for your words.

Idea: Star Wars Prequel comic book?
Time

Of course, you can do that to.

You know Frink, for a time your "Thread is now about..." was about a specific subject where I saw perhaps 3 images of a creation I was involved in, and probably saw one of "my" creations in there. I smiled and didn't say anything for two reasons: 1) of course to remain "anonymous", 2) simply because such creations justly don't belong to me anymore!

Star Wars is sure a solid rock for creation, but it would be *imho* a mistake to use GL's material to tell a better story of Anakin Skywalker.

... How a young skilled pilot, or whatever he is, met an apprentice of a magical discipline, and how he turned wrong and betrayed his friends, or a spiritual order... That, you really don't need GL's stuff to tell it, and certainly not paste the name of Star Wars on it.

;)

How come you don't keep your stuff? It should be like... of historical importance. lol

Because I've learned.

Always throw the lessons when you've finished with these my friend, otherwise you'll stick to these all your life and you'll miss the point where it was meant to lead you. ;)

... why not have other comics, just like we have tons of prequels edits.

I do have my answer to this question,

Star Wars belongs to the Fox and to Lucasfilm. Anything you will do with it don't BELONGS to you. I'm not saying everything you'll create will belong to you if you can sell it, but TODAY your own ideas are more, so much more important than anyone else's ones. THAT really belongs to you.

Writting and drawing are time consuming and need a right motivation to be pursued until final shape.

Don't mistake, I'd have dreamt to do something like this, but do the best stories achieved with Star Wars ? Certainly not. Star Wars have a depth and a simplicity most of the followers - and Lucas himself- have lost, and that's just why nobody really did better in the kind.

Just my two cents, but really, if you are good at writting, please just write something new, even if you're very inspired by Star Wars.

Besides, as you certainly know, GL wouldn't have been able to make a so good story of his own but thanks to Joseph Campbell and his knowledge of myths and archetypes. Here's a great source about this: http://www.moongadget.com/origins/myth.html

PS: Yeah, I know we're on a Star Wars site, but really: please save your skills and make us dream with your own world and your own characters.
