Doomsday Clock changed - 5 minutes to midnight
Time
The Soviets were at least willing to play ball with us. They knew that if they let up on their threats, we'd let up on ours. They knew that if they attacked us, we'd take them down as well. The Soviets were different because they thought it best to practice self-preservation. But those psychos running Iran and North Korea don't seem to realize (or care) that attacking the States or Israel would be the suicide of them and their entire countries. That's what makes them more dangerous.

How to extract BTM lost scenes?
Time
I can see why. I have acquired a program that can record the scenes, but have stumbled upon a problem. Whenever I play the scenes in question, the audio is HORRIBLY out of sync. I even went so far as to shut down every process that wasn't necessary for system stability to make sure there would be no slowdown, but the problem still exists. I'll try it with compatibility wizard, but if that doesn't work, I'll have to rip the audio and match it up to the lips. Does anyone else have this problem with their BTM CD? All for scenes whose quality will make their insertion nothing short of jarring to all viewers. Such is the life of a deleted scenes junkie.

Anyway, their presence won't be nearly as jarring as the insertion of the fullscreen Vader and Chief Bast scene into the widescreen 2004 DVD, or the insertion of the Droid Ship scene into AotC. I'll get a real laugh out of that. Speaking of which, I got OCP's permission to use the Droid Ship scene from Deleted Magic, since $40 for a four-minute scene from Hyperspace is pretty steep (although I'm tempted to do it anyway; are there any other Hyperspace-only scenes?), and he said he made no alterations to it. However, there seems to be a DivX watermark stuck to the bottom-right corner of said scene. Is there something I have to buy to make that go away, or is it attached to the original file? It's going to look (even more) tacky on my fan-edit DVDs.

Oh, and MERRY NEW YEAR!

How to extract BTM lost scenes?
Time
I'm trying to extract the deleted scenes from ANH available on the Behind the Magic CD for use in my fan edit. I have a policy of getting the necessary materials myself, otherwise I would have just ripped them from Deleted Magic. Problem is, the second disc is not compatible with the software I use to extract DVDs. Within the disc is an Install folder with a few readme's in them, an AutoRun setup information file, the BTM application icon, and two "bundle" files, one with a .000 extension, and another with a .001 extension. The latter holds the vast majority of the disc's contents, so I feel the movies are in there somewhere. I looked up several tutorials on opening .001 files, but all the suggested programs (most recommended WinRAR) couldn't read it. Any help?
