Info: Problems with Master Replicas?
Time

Hey, just wondering if anyone else out there has had this problem, and if so, what did you do about it? I bought a Darth Vader saber a couple of years ago, the one that’s signed by David Prowse and James Earl Jones. Well, over time the metal plaques have become tarnished, or “smudged” for lack of a better word. I wrote MR and they said it sounds like the plaques are oxidizing, and recommended I clean them with car wax. They cannot offer replacements obviously but I was hoping there was SOMETHING they could do, this thing wasn’t cheap after all, and I don’t think I should have to spend the rest of my life cleaning these things from time to time. I know last year (I think) they changed the plaques, probably because of this problem. So has anyone else had this happen to them?

Star Wars Rock

That was originally in a copy of the SW Insider, I think about 5 years ago, maybe more. It was then offered as a poster by the fanclub. I never bought the poster, but I might still have that issue, I will check later. That was a pretty funny picture, Vader was throwing the devil horns! I will check this post tomorrow to see if anyone's beaten me to it.

Need technical help
Time
Wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the Off Topic section, sorry. Just wondering if anyone has the technical know-how to basically "clean up" a dvd? I have a movie from 1970 called Voyage Into Space that was supposedly transferred from a filmprint, and has a lot of lines and little things that basically bug me whenever I watch it. Is there any way to fix those? Rikter, TR47? any ideas? An official release is not commercially available in any format, and to the best of my knowledge has never been. I would kill for a remastered version of this film on dvd. Seriously, I would. Thanks.

Excellent changes Lucas, you've finally cracked the elusive Pink market of Star Wars fans.

Now openly gay but secretly Star Wars fans everywhere can 'come out of the closet'.

Wow how did we get onto this?

"There is good in him, I've felt it."

"The last time I felt it, was in the presence of my old master."

"In time you will call me master."

"If only you knew the power of the dark side!"

"Back door, huh? Good idea!"

"You've got something jammed in here real good."

"Look at the size of that thing!"

"In you must go."

"And I thought they smelled bad... on the outside."

"Get in there you big furry oaf, I don't care WHAT you smell!"

"There's an awful lot of moisture in here."

"Mudhole? SLIMY?"

"The circle is now complete."

"Pull out Wedge, you can't do any more good back there!"

"Grab me, Chewie. I'm slipping -- hold on. Grab it, almost...you almost got it. Gently now, all right, easy, easy, hold me, Chewie. Chewie!"

"Would it help if I got out and pushed?"

"Luke, at that speed do you think you'll be able to pull out in time?"

"Possible he came in through the south entrance."

"You're all clear kid. Now let's blow this thing and go home!"

"It didn't go in. It just impacted on the surface."

"Control, control...You must learn control."

"Sorry about the mess..."

"I thought that hairy beast would be the end of me!"

"Hey, Luke, thanks for coming after me -- now I owe you one."

Han Solo even sounds like a gay porn name.

Bow Chicka Bow Chicka Wahwahwahwahwahh! Bow Chicka Bow Chicka Wahwahwahwahwahwahh!!

"Hey there kid I'm Han Solo and this hairy Bear is Chewie, we've come to fix your Hyperdrive, I hear it's been... leaking. Is it hot in here?"

Info: OT Bootleg DVDs
Time
Hello, hopefully someone here can help me? I do not use these forums often, usually I just read them, but I am trying to find good quality covers for my original trilogy dvd's. I saw them on a couple of sites about a year ago, but I just recently bought the dvd's, and you can tell the covers are copies of copies of...etc. I did a search but couldn't find anything. Sorry if this was the wrong place to post this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I am interested in oroiginal poster art covers, not the "faces" vhs ones from '95.
