.:. MoveAlong's - The Story of Star Wars .:. Complete!
Time
This project uses "The Story of Star Wars" vinyl LP audio synced up to a variety of video sources to create a unique preservation/fan-edit dvd. It is a 50 minute version of SW that is very enjoyable to watch.

Ive never seen or heard the lp "Story of Star Wars" but I do own the trilogy read along records on 7 inch or cassette singles, which I also got when I was a youth. I wonder if these are just edited down versions of what you have & if not, could you use these as well? Id be happy to rip them.

You will know it is time to turn the page when Artoo beeps, like this...

Rikter! You're just like me! I've bought a few of the CDs of the POTA series score with the intention of creating isolated score tracks one day. I never knew anybody else would be as crazy as me!

Call me crazy but Id like to see this as well. Dirty Harry Trilogy too.

While we're at it, Fistful of Dollars/Few Dollars More/The Good, Bad & Ugly would be nice as well.

Adding audio streams
Time
I need help with a fan edit.

I purchased a music dvd from one of my fav bands only to discover that they remastered & remixed all the tracks! Not only that but they are radio censored versions. I dont want these new remixes so I figured it might be worth trying to redo the clips using the original audio versions from CD/vinyl.

Ive managed to do one track using tips from ADM's MPEG2 & AC3 helpfile (thanks ADM) & it works a treat. Now I figure I could make it even better if I keep the original AC3 stream & add the old original version I have on CD as well, keeping both versions as seperate audio streams. How could I do this? Im using a trial of womble so time is ticking away...

While we are on this topic, what effect would using a Pal disc have on an Audio DVD? Would there be a 4% speed up or do they correct for this in mastering?

Info Wanted: What is the Best Quality OT Fan Preservation Set?
Time
Greetings.

This is my first post on the forum. To start, Id like to thank the preservationists. You have done us all a great service. I am yet to see any of these transfers but Im sure to be impressed, especially after my great disapointment with the SE version. I still find it hard to believe the changes Jabba George made & after looking at the screen comparisons I am shocked to see what they did with the colour correction.

To get back on topic & hopefuly revive this thread...Whats the verdict in 2006?

How do the newer transfers compare to the older ones? Whats everyones favorite? As a noob to this forum any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Jax.
