Any updates on this project?
Any updates on this project?
I hadn’t really given this much thought before, but was the Kevin Bassinson score commissioned by Golden Harvest?
Dre, any news on the batch processing?
I’m wondering, would it be possible to add the feature to save and load cropping settings? Say one of your sources has roughly the same amount of cropping throughout relative to the other source, it could save some time having to crop every single shot individually.
As far as I know the LUTs produced by the tool work in both Resolve and After Effects. Here’s the latest version, for which I tested the LUTs in Resolve:

It seems that the ‘repair’ option in the Matlab installer fixed the problem. I’ll test it further tomorrow. Not sure what caused it though. Anyway, this will hopefully speed up my workflow with this program. It can’t be said enough how useful it is. 😄
I know this issue has cropped up before, but all my LUTs that I’ve generated with ColorMatch are not recognized by programs like DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects. Was there a fix found for this? I’m using the latest version of ColorMatch (v1.2).
I can rip PAL LDs. PM me if you’re interested.
zeropc, would you mind uploading those files somewhere? I’m working on custom Blu-rays of these films (The Killer is in its final stages) and I would love to include these audio tracks.
Cool. No more DNR version then.
I’m personally not very interested in the DNR version myself, but I noticed some heavy grain in one of the previews when it cut to an effects shot. It might possibly bother some people.
You know, I love straying offtopic as much as the next guy, but the point of this is that my kid will barely come out from under his covers (I hope he doesn’t hear about this or it’s gonna be a long four years), and it’s really distressing as a parent to see your kid in this state, and I’d really rather not check back on this thread for potentially useful updates just to see more joking around about it. Please keep it over in the Offtopic forum, for my sake.
Sorry about that. Didn’t mean to cause any distress. Some of us try to use jokes to cope with the awful situation. Anyway, back on topic.
This is looking fantastic. Can’t wait till this gets released.
What if trump used the star wars theme than the air force one theme? 😉
The Imperial March should be the US national anthem during the Trump presidency.
It’s also worth noting that the original film, Wages of Fear, was heavily edited for U.S. release. I don’t know if this version ever made it to home video.
I haven’t read the whole thread, so sorry if this has been addressed before.
Whatever I do, all the options aside from the import options are greyed out. I’ve tried following the read me, but nothing works. Can someone help?
Wouldn't the Netflix version have a much higher bitrate, though?
I think it's up on Netflix now. Last time it was on, it was the theatrical cut. And it's in HD, so I reckon that's the best source.
Surely an analog track is better than nothing?

Rendering 16mm R2A now. It'll take another 4-5 hours.
After that it's on to R2B and then R1 and a few other bits.
How's Usenet and MySpleen?
Have these been uploaded yet?

Anyone got the Laserdisc audio for The Wrong Trousers? I've never heard the original audio it seems--even my VHS copy had "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow"--I just found out about the issue via this thread, and now I'm quite curious. I've got the Blu-ray video (US edition--slight speed FPS issue?).
PM me and I'll see what I can do. It's my favorite Wallace & Gromit.
Was there ever a custom made of this? My old VHS had the original audio. The replaced music has always bugged me.
I kind of doubt anyone but me is interested in this, but Fist of Fun series 2 on DVD had some cuts made to it. Apparently, the BBC is squeamish about jokes about the royal family for some reason. I would love to see the broadcast versions of the cut episodes.
Are you talking about this short?

Have you checked the PAL edition for this shot?
I did a couple of quick test regrades. Take it for what it's worth.

I think it's at least feasible.
The movie Symbol has had only one Blu-ray release in Japan. Unfortunately, it has hard-coded subtitles on the non-Japanese speaking dialogue.

There is, however, a PAL DVD of this movie which doesn't have hard-coded subs.

I would like to use the DVD to patch over the subtitles, keeping most of the BD resolution, but removing the subtitles.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this with video. Can someone give me some helpful information on how to do this?
The Korean disc has a DTS track.
If someone has a spare Blu-torrents invite, please feel free to send me a PM.
Edit: Nevermind.
