The Inquisitor thing does nothing for me (it's like some CW idea that was discarded) Kanan could grow on me but as for the others? An early McQuarrie Chewy drawing bought to life, a female Mandalorian (because Mandalorians are cool, right? No. Boba Fetts cool but whatever) and there's the stupidly named droid and well? a ton of other stuff besides.

For me personally, I had never envisioned the the early Storm troopers being clones. I'd always thought the Stormtroopers were exclusive to the Empire. I'd always imagined the Clone Wars was a battle that was exclusive to the Jedi. A war that involved the few Jedi I'd imagined and clones of powerful extinct races of beings under the control of the Sith.
Having watched the 7 minutes, I'm still ambivalent about it. Not like 7 mins was enough to make me change my mind anyway. But I didn't like TCW in the slightest. And the last remaining ounce of mindless optimism I had reserved for this is still very much in the balance after seeing that.
The 'Yorkshire' TV Times! Lol. I can't recall, but have the BBC ever broadcast a SW film? if so, is there a Radio Times equivalent?

The Qui Gonn v Maul encounter on Tattooine. But then totally ruined by Qui Gonns reaction that was like he'd just had a few harsh words with someone on a bus. No, "What in the hell just happened?? Who was that?!?!" He should've been pumped and full of questions! Lol
a big hello to all that remember me on here. Just a few words to begin with (for what its worth) Life's been very eventful since I last graced (lol) these forums and I feel I'm quite a different person to the last one who was on here. A much more..calmer and considered person I dare to say :-). Despite all the madness that's been happening personally, I haven't failed to keep myself up to date with all the news relating to Episode VII. Fair to say there's been quite a bit going on. Anyway now that's out of the way, to the threads question.
i don't want to see unoriginality. I don't want to see too many nods to the style of ANH. As in a loveable rogue/ anti hero character. Luke mirroring Obi Wan from Star Wars. As in the old Jedi who..well, you know the rest. I remember all that 'rhymes' crap Lucas came out with to justify the lazy story telling we had to suffer in the prequels. None of this please. Make the story original and fresh.
You two obviously expecting much from Epiode VII. According to you it's on a par with Avengers. Oh well.
If I was Disney I'd put Anengers 2 well out of he way of the Juggernaut that will be Episode VII. If Star Wars is to be May? Put back Avengers to July, August. THAT would make sense.
Take it for granted Avengers (yawn) will be out before Episode VII
Hopefully he will emulate the brilliance of Empire and Raiders. My 2 personal faves. Just take a moment to listen to the the score when the falcons being chased in Empire and into the Asteroid field. Exceptional. Williams at his best. (Makes the hairs on my neck stand up) Episode VII needs that type of stuff.
I think the choice should be on offer in equal measure. Star Wars VII for me, is going to be in a proper IMAX cinema in 2D.

All those episodes are brilliant. The series (8 I think?) where Rimmer goes off to become Ace and Kochanski takes his place was ok. But I tired of her quite quickly. 9 & 10 are worth a watch, but just the once. None of them merit a re-viewing in my opinion.

I really think they should leave it alone now. 10 was so so at best. If they get Rob Grant back to help with the writing then perhaps. The US pilot was included in the Smeg ups and it was dreadful.

Yeah Back to Reality is a favourite. Also Gunmen of the Apocalypse which also works on both levels. And your right about Holly as a character, but I would tend to lean more to Norman Lovetts Holly ( just a personal preference) But there still remains question, the others will have to know!..does anybody want any toast?

It really is annoying. Almost as if the 2D theatre is tucked away in some darkened corner of the complex. Rubbish strewn and neglected.
As for those who are fans may have noticed, I'm a huge fan of the cult sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf. What are your favourite episodes, series and characters? Who was your favourite Holly etc.
