team negative1 - star wars 1977 - 35mm theatrical version (Released)
Time

Hi Williarob,

Thanks for this amazing work. I’ve just watched it and it’s amazing. Best SW77 release ever !

Just two tiny improvements for 1.7 :

  • 81’ crawl subs : when using 81’ crawl, the subs are not fitting anymore (only during the crawl because of the different timing).

  • More audio tracks (like Hairy-Hen’s 5.1, french, german, etc.).

Again : thank you so much !

Here’s bluray cases for Star Wars Specialized, or rather, REspecialized. So far, Harmy’s only completed ANH, but hopefully the other two will come down the pike. These are designed for Criterion style bluray cases. The link includes label art as well.

Hi,

Thanks, there are amazing ! But do you plan to release those with less Stormtroopers (ANH), the 1980-97 Emperor (ESB) and Shaw’s ghost (ROTJ) to really look like the 1997 SE without 2004/BD footage ?

Thanks a lot !

Time

Hi Harmy,

This message to say a huge thank you ! My Star Wars marathon ended tonight with your workprint. It was amazing to watch SW2.5, ESB2.0 and ROTJ2.0WP with my wife before TFA. You are part of Star Wars History for sure !

Can’t wait to be in the theatre tomorrow. Long live Star Wars, long live the Despecialized Editions !

So do I ! 50GB M-Disc :)

Great preview ! Some shots are amazing. Some are less, but I think it is the way they were in 77.

I know you won't change your mind, but I think it could be nicer without the cigarette burns.

That said, it is the most amazing sample of SW77 I ever seen. So again, THANKS ! Can't wait for the complete and final version.

Preserving "French" Original Trilogy - ANH V1.0 released - ESB in progress

Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)
Time

Hi !

I watched yesterday the ANH 1997 SE blu-ray and I want to say thanks to the team ! I prefer the OOT, but I grew up with the SE and it was great to see it again.

Question : is there anybody who wants to help me to match this to a french audio track ? Or to create french subs (there are juste a few changes with 77' subs) ? PM me :)

And sorry, my english is quite bad :/

schorman's HDTV Star Wars Saga Preservation (Released)
Time

Hi schorman13 ! Any news about versions 1.5 ?

I'd like to watch the OOT one more time with my wife (and ten more times by myself !) before seeing Episode VII, but she want to watch the Prequel too :-/ So I'd like to see a TPM version without CGI Yoda, and yours seems to be the best :)

Do you need french subs to include them ? Can I help ?

Thanks a lot for this preservation !

Why would you not use the iso, then?

What it sounds like you're asking for would be for someone to download the iso and convert it into MKV format so you can convert it back to a blu-ray iso format. Is it a matter of not being able to add subs to the blu-ray easily? Still seems like the best option would be to use the corrected iso and play with that, rather than have someone make a new 20 gig upload for you.

The thing is there are no subs to use with the ISO. And someone said that the ISO and the 1080p MKV have different timing, so I can't use the MKV subs with the ISO.

I don't need any help, I'd just like to know if the team made a MKV with the corrected end scene. If not, I won't bother anyone.
