I’m pretty sure I remember Mike saying he would get this output on film - to make it easier to archive and preserve.

Hans Solo
I have a friend who claims to be a huge Star Wars fan. He constantly calls him “Hans Solo.”
Ummm, they have tusks on their masks.
Adywan did release an official (and sweet) DVD-9 with menus. I’m not sure if that’s the same one you’re asking about, though.
I saw the 70mm version back in the day. When I watched the Puggo Edition a few years ago, many of the audio differences immediately struck me as familiar, especially the Yoda yell. If they weren’t in the 70mm version, I don’t know where else I would’ve heard them.
Rob, I’m wondering if simply renaming this project something other than SSE will make it easier to redistribute. The publicity of the SSE seemed to drive Team N1 underground, so releasing an updated version of the SSE seems to imply the team is still around.
NEW MONO MIX!!!
(Not to downplay all the other amazing aspects.)
I hope someone can put this up on the spleen.
I understand how all the noob questions, unsolicited feedback, and ETA requests got old for Ady. But how is Facebook any better?
Hayden’s ghost is godawful, but nothing tops Jedi Rocks.
Quoted for truth.
(Do the kids still do that?)
Great! Downloading now. How did you create this?
So did Disney just kill Infinity to compensate for going over budget in Shanghai?
I want to be excited for this, but I just can’t. Watching the special editions is like reliving the last 10 years of abuse we’ve gotten from Lucas.
Awesome. Thanks!
New capture of the Mono Mix from Jaxxon’s 16mm print
Awesome! Am I the only one excited about this?
Check your spleen.
Auralnauts briefly take on TFA:

The Auralnauts are usually too strange and esoteric for me. But this one is AWESOME!
This looks amazing! They have the look down PERFECT. To be honest, even if the story and acting are mediocre, I’ll still love this movie for the visuals and tone alone. This is the kind of movie that Lucas never would have made.
Re Vader: If you listen closely, you can hear a VERY BRIEF Vader exhale in the last shot of the trailer, right as the lights go down.
Is anyone else concerned about the lack of anything for this movie? We haven’t even had an official teaser, and it’s coming out this year. I thought for sure we’d start seeing something, especially now that the hype about TFA on digital and blu-ray is over. Most people have never even heard of this.
I’m starting to get a feeling that the movie’s production is in trouble. They could be planning on pushing back the release to 2017.
Thanks. It’s always seemed strange to me that they would get Harrison to do such a gimmicky voice. But there it is.
Hi everyone,
For our next Star Wars video, our YouTube channel just released a restored version of the original Empire Strikes Back trailer from 1979, narrated by Harrison Ford himself:
Thanks for this. Question: I’ve seen speculation that Harrison Ford was the narrator, but was never sure. Do you have some definitive source that he’s the narrator?
Hey Towne, are you going to release a Blu Ray version of 2.7?
Are you maybe thinking of the old arcade game called Star Fire?
I didn’t hate TFA, but there’s plenty to Plinkett about.
I agree that it’ll probably be more like the Titanic review. I hope so.Speaking of Plinkett, I’m working on edits of his PT reviews. My aim is to make them something my sister can watch while her kids are around. I’m cutting most of the swearing and tangents and sticking to the reviewing. This keeps them to the point and offers a shorter runtime while still being hilarious (a few jokes actually work better IMO).
This might not be for everyone, but I was wondering if anybody would be interested in them when I’m done.
I’m interested!
This sounds interesting. Can’t wait to see how you re-dubbed the Neimodians.
I very distinctly remember Harmy tweaking that shot with the red sky.
