No one answered me what they thought of the Blu-Ray effects of Han unfreezing.
- Even ignoring the PT, many people have complained that DS2 was nearing completion in too short a time, so I thought that a less completed version might mitigate that complaint.
Once you know how to design/build something, it would more than likely take a much shorter time to do it again.

Plus you already have experience, you know the flaws, you know what to correct etc…
I would build the same, but better.An Empire had to start growing, and because of that, the research still being done, and all of the production delays, it took a whole 19 years for the Death Star I to be fully finished. It only took 4 years for the Death Star II to be built because by then, the Empire was in full power.
And it sounds like the book canon says that they finished the superstructure years ago, it just took them a decade to make the weapon work. Now that they know how to do that, they just have to mount the weapon on a frame and hook it up to a reactor.
Near the opening of Rogue One is where they added the dish onto it, which was the finishing touch.
And yet in Revenge of the Sith we see them building the dish as part of the frame of the station. Maybe it got broked up 😄

Are the Blu-Ray’s enhanced effects of Han being defrosted going to remain? I think they look pretty cool.
The PT should have been made to match the OT and the OT shouldn’t be altered to match that crap. That crap should be altered to match the OT.

You know what? Referring to the new movies as “Disney’s Star Wars” is like calling the new Mummy movie as “Comcast’s The Mummy.” Lucasfilm is owned by Disney in the same way that Universal is owned by Comcast.
I for one will now only refer to “Comcast’s The Mummy” as “Comcast’s The Mummy”.

One could make the argument that Boba wanted to form his own persona, and not live in the shadow of the clones that were in his “father”'s image, so he adopted a different voice.

I really like that idea though! It would be nice to use it when they plug R2 and we see the wrong version. Then when we see the right version via a old 1970’s TV scan-style transition to have that used-in universe look.

ROTJ has always felt the most “stagey” of the OT to me, and the one that was the most unconcerned with shots looking less than impressive. Some of the sets and locations really feel like sets and locations, and I’ve always felt it was detrimental to the suspension of disbelief necessary for a fantasy film. I’d be thrilled to see this kind of thing minimized or eliminated for ROTJ:R.

I don’t get the complaints about Vader being forced to call Palpatine his master at all times. He’s been beat down for 25 years at this point from a man who literally gave him his life back. Of course he’s going to kiss up to him.
I agree, but it is excessive in at least one scene. Ady has already agreed that it will be changed.

As you can see a few pages ago, I already gave Adywan my suggestion that I didn’t like Vader’s constant repetition of “my master,” and even though he responded to my three other requests, he didn’t say anything about that one.

https://vimeo.com/232895071The second video is trying to make Vader seem like less of a lap dog to the emperor by removing the constant “my master”. Additionally some of the exchange Vader has with the emperor regarding Luke feels a bit repetitive so i shortened the dialog between them.

I feel like the ANH:R graphics were too pretty and clashed with the used universe aesthetic of the film. I wouldn’t mind graphics that are a bit more low-fi but still fixed the dish placement. It would be a shame to break continuity with Rogue One but the blue TIES and red bacta in ESB:R already kind of do.
Okay, so TIEs and Bacta tanks come in different colors. No big deal.
I think the official explanation is that there are multiple designs on the hard drive. Which would explain why we see the wrong one in Rogue One, but certainly wouldn’t explain why the Rebels are looking at the wrong one while planning their attack. That just doesn’t make sense. This was one of the best fixes in the original ANHR, I don’t know why it should be reverted back.
Neither Rogue One or A New Hope mentioned anything about multiple designs being on the hard drive.
Huh. I just learned that Death Star Owner’s Technical Manual, published in 2013, appears to contain schematics of the Death Star from back when the dish was intended to be equatorial, and has an in-universe explanation for why it’s all different from the real thing.
“Imperial Schematic Design System Data, obtained by a rebel agent from a military communications complex on Galvoni III after the Battle of Yavin, yielded schematics for a concept ‘Death Star’ with a superlaser cannon located on the sphere’s equator.”
That’s all fine by me. That means too he would need to use the pink engines for the x wings.
Well, he already kept the pink engine for Luke’s X-Wing in ESB:R.
I like what he did with the target display on the falcon, it made sense showing the TIES on the screens. It made those screens actually useful?

My question is, should the Death Star plans be returned to their original look OR what Adywan did? (Which I am sure was based on Attack of the Clones Death Star Plans)
