May I just say its nice to see some old faces again on here, been a while. One thing about Grievous that always bugged me was that his voice was always terrible for the way he looked. I, many years ago tried to find a new voice for Grievous. The only way I could hear it was this:

Skip to 0:11 seconds for my interpretation of Grievous. Someone used this sound and actually dubbed it over footage at some point but it got took down, this video is a few years old now with really bad quality sound but i hope it makes its point of trying to make Grievous more animal like.

I don't think its meant to be a slow closing door, after all it is a rancor they are keeping.

 

I like the idea tho. Still it might ruin the experience later that Luke levitates 3po and shows greater skills.

yeah but moving a switch and moving C3P0 with some skill are two different things, i don't think it effects anything to be honest.

I think the way to strengthen bail organa's character someone could use the ROTS footage of the rebellion forming, cut and trim a few of the scenes. Would make Bail look more active than just sitting around and complaining just like Padme. This way he could be a cool collective senator as well having a different side of a guy who isnt gonna sit around and watch democracy fail. Makes his 2d character more 3 dimensional. Two sides to his personality and we can see where leia in the OT gets her willingness to do something about a bad situation comes from. No need to make him more Han like, no need to make him an extra on set. Just an idea gentlemen.

Hey Adywan, just wondering about the wampa puppet you are creating, Im sorry if you have answered this question in the past, i might have missed it somewhere but I digress. Are you recreating a puppet on the Wampa for the Taun Taun attacks and cave scenes (as in ESB:SE) or just Taun Taun attack? Just wondering how your approaching the Wampa scenes?

If you can make the Wampa look good then I see no problem with it taking a while, might be a cliche but Rome wasnt built in a day.

 I agree with Bingowings on this one. As much as the new films are designed to show off ILM skills instead of a good story and characters, Ive always enjoyed lookin at the difference between planets and the diversity of the designs and cultures etc. The visual design should be there as a interesting place for good plot and characters to reside in, not a gallery for 3d artists.

Excuse my amateur talents, was experimenting with 3d yoda in OT and vice versa. Shame someone with excellent 3d experience couldnt redo all of Yoda's footage, that would make any fan edit totally epic!

I don't see what's wrong with the Clonetroopers attacking the Temple during the Order 66 portion of the film - after all, Clonetroopers are shown killing the Jedi, why not show them killing Younglings at the same time?

 How about we hear about younglings being killed but not actually see it. I dont think it was actually needed in the film, when Bail Organa comes to the temple and the young Jedi is killed in front of him, then i think thats enough to show that all ages of jedi were killed.

It's ugly I know, but give me some time and I'll make this look good. I'll add the closeup of anakins hand doing the force push and add the sound effect before I'm done. And of course Ill fix the background, and roto work.

I honestly don't think this should happen at all.  At this moment, Anakin is just trying to stop Mace from killing Palpatine, not outright helping Palpatine kill him.  To Force Push him would make Anakin's turn in actions way too abrupt.

 I don't know, i think that Anakin is at a point in this movie where he's in a situtation where he has to choose either an evil friend or a good guy that recently he hasn't been getting along with. Remember in the context of the movie that mace was only there to arrest him and anakin agreed with that, but then mace turns round and says no, he needs to be destroyed. I think it wouldnt be too rediculious that anakin force pushes mace out as a last resort.

I will break this down into 4 points, logo, crawl, republic ship and finally jedi fighters.

The logo:

Though it was a nice surprise to see a new logo and thought it was wonderful, i think a new logo isnt actually needed. Wouldnt fit in with the rest of the saga despite i know this isnt a saga you are doing as of yet. I say stick with the old.

The crawl:

The crawl is funny as hell and made me smile but for people not knowing of this project they may read this and think this is a spoof and will not take this seriously. Don't like the red colour if im honest. Just feels wrong to me.

Republic Ship:

Looked amazing and really felt like the OT which in way plays into my next point about Jedi starfighters. I would keep what you have done to the RepShip.

Jedi fighters:

Jedi fighters look good but i think you should keep with the colours of the original film. By showin the RepShip and then you see the Jedi fighters it felt to me like a preview of yet to come by the time we get round to see the OT. Make the RepShip colourless and the Jedi ships colourful. So later in the movie you see the empire slowly taking over. I think the same should happen in regards to the clone troopers. After the Empire starts to take over we should see colourless clone troopers.

Well these are just my opinions and hope i explained clearly.

Just a visual crystal idea i had.

I think the whole lightsaber switchening idea would be nice to see but i don't think its going to be possible without heavy editing. Apart from looking cool the idea is flawed unfortunately. It's either cut Obi picking up the lightsaber which wouldnt make sense in ANH. Switch the lightsaber hilt/handle design which would be inconsistent with later films. Simply change Anakin's lightsaber crystal to red but then how did Obi wan change it back. I think replacing the crystal may be easier.

Anakin's/Luke's blue lightsaber.

Darth Vader's ANH/ESB/ROTJ lightsaber.

Is there a way of using the scene, where Obi looks through the window and some how sees zam and the design and colour of the ship?

I've got the first 3 artbeats cloud fly-thru dvds but i just can't find the exact shot. It's more do do with me being a perfectionist really. Heres my thought on the dark fight scene.

Extremely quick design, took me few minutes to do to illustrate my point.

The only trouble is that Order 66 must have already been named and the details of that order must have already been known. They should of had it called Operation: *Insert evil name here* sort of thing. Maybe something called Operation: Starkiller, a kind of recycling but also a nod to the originals, original script lol.

 Good good lol. Im not knockin the guy for his skills but.....ok well i am. Just wish that he would think before he does something. Kinda reminds me of those annoyin people you see in the background of a news report who have to wave their arms and try and attract your attention as your tryin to watch and see something important.
