The 03 CW is probably the best looking of all the SW animated shows, oddly. All the others just look too cheap.
Something being “official” or not shouldn’t matter. What does is the idea of whether something “happened” in the continuity of a story. These things are important only as far as they impact the story.
I see no problem with not having a canon, and no problem with having one. If you want to add another layer to these stories, fine. If not, who cares?
I don’t really have a personal canon of what I think really “happened” but I do have certain pieces of SW that I like and certain pieces that I don’t. There is a distinction between the two concepts.

ROTJ has that horrible music sequence which drives me nuts. It’s a foreshadowing of the cringe-worthy moments in the prequels, me thinks.

I’m fine with storytime but it turns to absolute lunacy once 3PO says “We are now part of the tribe”.
The ROTJ novelization really makes the scene worth while. After 3PO’s story, Luke pleads to the Ewoks to join the Rebels and fight against the Empire. Don’t know if this was cut from the film or not but it makes the “part of the tribe” make a bit more sense.
You’re only a true Star Wars fan if you have successfully made it through a viewing of the Holiday Special.
