Arguably the hardest one of all, considering just how horrendous the ESB GOUT is. I predict you'll be seeking some assistance from other sources?

Best of luck, either way.

Give the OP a break.  Unless you yourself have done a project all by yourself that you can share for reference, why be snarky?

I'm sorry if it came off different.y, but I meant that with sincerity. This seems like a worthwhile project, and I look forward to where he's going with it. I apologize if it came off differently.

I appreciate you understanding my point and not judging me poorly for saying how I read it.  This seems to be a luxury around here lately.  I too look forward to seeing how this might turn out.  I want to see people succeed at their own challenges.  It makes for exciting things.

Happy to hear (well, read) that.    :)

Well, what I do is take the blu-ray footage and if there is any change in the lightsaber blade (like vader's pink lightsaber in the 2004) I rotoscope the area of the lightsaber blade from the 2006 DVD and color correct it so, it will be like the blu-ray shot. I used after effects for most of the original HD shots (well, the editing)

So, basically you are making your own "Despecialized Edition", right?

I don't really see the point of this since Harmy already did an amazing job.

 What's the Despecialized Edition???

So what's your editing background? What are you going to use as the sources for the restoration of the original effects? Are you going to color grade the main film to better match how it originally looked?
