Team Negative1 - The Empire Strikes Back 1980 - 35mm Theatrical Version (Released)
Time

The mkv had the glitch at the last scene, already mentioned; it also had 4:2:2 color space.
Some media players might not like it. On the other hand, it might be preferred
if somebody wanted to use some of that source footage in his own project.

A long time ago, some NiceGuy posted that first mkv on usenet.
AFAIK the fixed BD never made it there. Perhaps I’ll post it, in the next day or three…
What better way to hasten Sanitized release
than spending time & energy posting the soon-to-be-superseded one? 😃

Mallwalker for upping the DVD9 to usenet

No problemo!
However one might have problemo if he relies upon binsearch.info to find it.
They’ve got Despecialized & Grindhouse lumped together for reasons I don’t understand.
If Grindhouse you seek, NZBIndex is your friend
or, by the weekend, NZBKing should have it indexed I hope

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)

The -1 release is very much like watching an actual projected 35mm presentation (complete with the occasional pops, specks, flecks, and stuff you’d see inherent to older celluloid) but it is very much an absolutely “pure” presentation of the original film (and the aforementioned “flaws” add to authentic filmic feel of the presentation), complete with one original theatrical stereo English track.

It certainly looks authentic filmic; however, the sound is GOUT.
Lazy team, was lazy . . . or rushed, as the case may be.

Cue Towne to scold my bad attitude, but I couldn’t resist using that meme

Question: Can anyone point me in a direction if they know if RotJ v. 2.5 is out as a NTSC DVD yet? The Blu-Ray set is turning out to be awesome (thanks Harmy and FrankT). However, my truck has a DVD player for longer car rides and I’m going to make a set for the kids to have in the car. For those that have been around here a lot longer than I, after a new Harmy file drop - about how long did it take for the NTSC version to start showing up?

~36 hours

Another possibility is that Harmy did indeed upload a new set of rars at one point. If you took multiple days to download it, you may have gotten some from one set and some from another? Or your jdownloader links were not matched to your firefox ones.

Yes, definitely more than one rar set uploaded.
One at or before 2016-02-07 11:30 PST, another by 16:35.
Latter had some (but not all) changes to readme.txt
