The Derek Taylor book has some nice b/w bts photos (poor quality though and you'd have to cut out the pages to scan them properly) and is written as a series of interviews. So in that sense its great for quotations. It's a great supplement to the Rinzler book, or vice-versa!

What about scans from poster magazines, Starlog, Annuals, Cinema Programs. The quality might not be much but they are bts photos not seen elsewhere.

I have that DVD, it has much more Making Of than the official Making Of DVD !! Go figure. It is my favourite source of bts Raiders footage.

Also I think it is progressive, certainly the freeze frame on my software player has no combing effects that I get when pausing the official Making Of dvd.

It predates the movie's release at the end it finishes with a Coming Soon (or some date) slide which makes me think it was prepared for insider / industry use and promotion. Then much later it surfaced as an extra disc from Best Buy. It has closed caption titles as well iirc!

You'll *really* need this dvd - I can burn you a copy if you like?

TMPGEnc MPEG editor allows MPEG2 editing with frame accuracy. MPEG2 files with same characteristics can be joined. Re-encoding generally only occurs at cut/join points.

I now copy original IFO/BUP files into a DVD_ROM sub-folder (space allowing) and burn. At least you can get all the original files back and reseed.
Assuming VOB/IFO files were torrented and not an iso.

The limit is 100MB and 10 minutes. Therefore a 1 hour piece would need cutting into 6 or 7 chunks.
"YouTube accepts video files from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones in the .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG file formats."

So you could upload mpeg2 files but then the 100MB limit would mean short clips.

I think every TV tube has overscan 4:3 and 16:9, and probably every tube is slightly different. Perhaps plasma and lcd sets don't suffer the same problems.
In any case I'd suggest scaling down the image in the centre of your video file until you can see the whole image on your TV.

Have you tried "AutoGK" - its easy to use and you can specify output file size. Not sure that its as quick as you would like. Outputs avi containing your choice of divx or xvid.
Also "SUPER©" looks quicker though the output filesize will depend on the settings you select. More choice of codecs.

Could I ask which tool (windows) would convert the grisc output of 100s of images into an avi file ?
I had thought perhaps there was an aviSynth script that might do it ?

[PS grisc works perfectly on my pc on all 4 deleted scenes, however grisp plays the treadwell and 2 Biggs scenes but the cantina clip comes out like a scrambled satellite channel. Could be a zlib1.dll problem.]

I've been using Subtitle Workshop and DVD Lab Pro for a little while now but what frustrates me is the lack of colour support and being able to locate the subtitle on-screen.

Does anyone know of anything that would let me create blue / green / yellow / white subtitles and be able to place them anywhere on screen for use with DVD, something that won't break the bank
