You both need to watch The Usual Suspects pretty much immediately. I'd recommend going in as spoiler-free as you possibly can.

"Stray" by Zig Zag and the Up Downs
Sorry, guys. Had to plug my friends' band again. Especially since I shot this video, and synced the separately-recorded audio. (It's all 100% live, there's no overdubs or lip syncing going on.)

oh, except the Usual Suspects - seriously, am I the only person who doesn't like that movie?
I'm with 005. I don't know anyone who dislikes The Usual Suspects. Did you have the ending spoiled for you before you saw it, perhaps?
Honestly, it looks its worst in the rancor scene.
I think it's better, but the theatrical version is almost as good. Just not quite.
...why?
"Easy to Crash" - Cake
New album is brilliant, by the way.

Top five, eh?
Alright then. My current top 5 as of now, in no particular order:
This will likely change by the end of the day, and again by the time I go to bed, and again when I wake up in the morning ...
Anyway, honorable mentions that often make it into my top 5, but didn't quite make it today:
Alien
Almost Famous (Director's Cut)
Blue Velvet
City of God
Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Theatrical or Director's Cut; NOT Special Edition)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Fall
The Fountain
Groundhog Day
The Iron Giant
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Let the Right One In
MASH
Moon
Pan's Labyrinth
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Road
Six-String Samurai (not so much a "best" as a "favorite," if that makes sense)
Thank You for Smoking
There Will Be Blood
Wow, that list became longer than I thought it would. Sorry about that.
God. Fucking. Damn it.
Does fucking everything need a fucking sequel nowadays?!
Disagreed. Bender's Game and Into the Wild Green Yonder are both good, too. Never warmed to Beast with a Billion Backs, though.
The crawl is still a little too green. You can see on the vectorscope that it's not going toward yellow, but toward the guide line underneath yellow, which means it's mostly yellow with some green.
I don't know that I'd recommend going directly toward yellow, but there definitely needs to be a bit less green there.
Other than that, it all looks very good!
"Butter 'n Jam" - Zig Zag and the Up Downs*
*local rock/jam band comprised of several friends of mine - they're just starting up, but they're pretty damn good already

You can put mine up, too. It's up to you whether you want to use this one or the sandwich one (which can be found in the "what have you been eating" thread).
But I'm not Fry anymore. I'm ... the Professor!

Wow, I've beaten Frink to the draw! Do I win a prize?!

If I am, this is the first I've heard of it.
I actually had to watch the movie for my science fiction studies class, and I wanted to see the "most complete" version I could - we were going to watch the 2001 restoration in class, but he changed it to an out-of-class requirement after the class was canceled due to the blizzard. They had the new restoration on Netflix Instant, so I watched that version instead.
Metropolis, the recently-released restored cut. Never seen any version of the movie before in its entirety, and it was very good. I'm shocked at the scenes that have been missing all these years (you can easily tell the newly-discovered footage from the rest), as many of them felt integral to the plot.
I gave it a lot of thought, especially for a 5 or 6 year old. To the point where I would act out the Clone Wars using my Star Wars and my uncle's G.I. Joe action figures.
The King's Speech, immediately after it won the Best Picture Oscar.
It totally deserved it. It's fucking hard to make a movie about people talking and make it visually and emotionally engaging. They did it, and they did it in spades.
And fuck Harvey Weinstein for cutting the "fucks" out for a PG-13 re-release. One, the movie shouldn't have been rated R in the first place, and I'm including the "fucks" here. Two, the "fucks" are actually pretty goddamn important to the fucking story!
I really hope the PG-13 version doesn't end up being the version everybody remembers, because the R version is pitch-perfect.
King of Limbs (album) - Radiohead
I'm warming to it about as quickly as I warmed to Amnesiac (which is to say, pretty slowly, but it's getting there).
That's exactly what I thought, too. "Clone wars" = "wars against clones."
Also, there was more than one Clone War, not just one long one that they decided to pluralize for no good reason.
