Last Jedi coming to 4K next year. Hard to imagine them letting only one of the Saga be on the format for very long. Question is, will they upgrade everything, or just the Mouse-era flicks.

Are you saying RO is an ROTJ remake because they both have a land battle? In that case, every war movie is a remake of every a war movie.
Also, if it really is half a remake of ROTJ as you say, ROTJ would have been much better.

I don’t get the criticism that we don’t know the characters very well. It’s a movie about a “ragtag band or rebels” that was put together over the course of a couple days. That’s partly the point.

Correct. Some of us initially bought it because it was the only option and it was better than nothing. Probably not an unsubstantial number of people.

I disagree. I enjoyed Arrested Development coming back. There’s ways to do it if you’re smart, and Firefly was one of the smartest shows I’ve seen.

I think people who don’t like the prequels find in Menace at least some sense of adventure and entertainment, while the other two are just cringe worthy. Whereas, people who like the prequels like what we hate about II and III, and find I boring because it doesn’t have as many shitty CGI animals and explosions.
Edit: they also like this like Yoda and the Emperor using lightsabers. For us, at least I doesn’t detract severely from any OT character.

love these vhs cover creations , I took my dvd copy of force awakens and played it through my old apex dvd player hooked up to an old portable tv/vcr combo and made a vhs copy of it . Might do the same for Rogue one and display with all my other vhs star wars movies.
Why not just put a random VHS in the box? (you don’t actually intend to watch it on tape, do you?)
