Would anybody be interested in an exteded version of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore’s ‘Derek and Clive Ad Nausium’ album. I was thinking of putting some of the tracks from the filmed version ‘Derek and Clive Get the Horn’ into the album. This would extend it by about ten minutes I would think.

The R2 DVD edition of Muppet Family Christmas is near complete with, I believe, only one sequence of Fozzie and his Mom removed. This might be a good starting point.

I hope the Emmet project goes well, sounds like a great release.

Thanks, that's where I first saw the clips but it isn't exactly good enough for a preservation.

Clips of it can be found in the documentary The Unknown Marx Brothers and I think Mixed Nuts. It isn't realy that good and Groucho only appears at the very end. It's also available on 8mm.

I think the unfinished Marx Pilot 'The Deputy Seraph' is more worthy of a preservation. I would lvoe to get my hands on that.

Does anybody know if copies of the 16 minutes of unedited footage from the abandoned Marx Brothers sitcom ‘The Deputy Seraph’ is circulating anywhere? I’m interesed in starting a preservation project for this material, perhaps accompanied by a fan edit putting together the scenes it is possible to construct.

Any ideas?

I also don't see why people seem to hate BTTF3 with such a passion, it really is a great film. It may not quite live up to the benchmark set by the first two but we have to remember what I high benchmark that was.

Sorry I should clarify I wasn't intending on producing a chronological edit, just joinging the three together and adding back the deleted scenes.

Apologies for not being more clear. From what I gather there is a short bit of dialog prior to Rowlfs song that has been cut from most home video editions. Kermit asks for a drangonfly drink from the bartender. This clean audio leads into the song on the soundtrack album.

What is the audio like off that tape? I only ask as the dragonfly audio appears complete on The Muppet Movie Album, of which I have a digital copy.

I would love to have a bash at creating an edit but alas I have not the facilities. If you were after some short bonus features at any time though I have some ideas.
