BATTLESTAR GALACTICA PILOT EXTENDED EDIT
Time

Chasing another needle in a haystack…
Apparently all the deleted/extra scenes from the pilot have been edited back into the pilot, resulting in a near 3 hour Galactic extravaganza!!! Is this floating around out there? In appreciation for any info or links…thanks again to all who may respond…

DUNE 3 HOUR CUT
Time

Wondering if anyone knows which of the many extended, fixed-up 3 hour versions out there, is the best version to watch?..and if there are any links to that version floating around. Humbly and hopefully…Andrew

RELEASED: "Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Special Longer Version)"
Time

To my knowledge (particularly after buying the incorrectly labelled box set) the only version of the SLV that got a release in Australia was a pan n scan 4:3 version. I know that I sold the vhs tape eventually for that very reason…which was pretty dumb in hindsight! Isn’t the only “real” SLV version a 4:3 version anyway, because it would have been put together for tv back then…and there were no widescreen beauties around back then! All confusing, isn’t it?

I very excitedly purchased this box set also, here in Australia. Bought it PURELY for the SLV, as indicated by the running time on the box and tape label. Had the VCR and dvd recorder ready to go, did a fast forwArd of the tape to check stop and start points…and guess what? STTMP IS THE THEATRICAL CUT…NOT THE SLV! Very pissed off…but glad I checked first…
