hi guys just captured Twilight Zone : The Movie, and it doesnt look bad,it is fullscreen,but what i need is art,does any one have any case and disc art for this title?or know where i might look to find some?

Perhaps his source material isn't in widescreen. If one thinks, one can usually intuit the answer.

mebe is right,my LD isnt widescreen,believe me i wish it was.

The best I can find art-wise is a 1488x2247 scan of the poster, which is folded into eighths and autographed. It looks like John Lithgow's signature. Here it is.

Can't wait to get that rip, DJ. That is, considering it gets released wide enough that I can grab it. Been wanting this for a long time. Why WB hasn't released it is beyond me.

I have a quick question for this movie, to all experts on it: Wasn't this movie halted due to deaths and never released? Or was it one of those cult movies that is relatively unknown?

OK i just got the case and disc art from JackLucas,and i like it,great job Jack(just needed to tweek the res. a little bit and add 101 mins.)i will have this encoded and ready for burn by this weekend,hopefully it will look OK,if so i will be sending it to JackLucas ofcourse for the art(along with the Jedi/Feta Blade Runner NTSC with an updated dvd-rom folder that has a Hell of alot more goodies,including the rare 2 disc ESPER Edition soundtrack with case and cover art,plus alot more)and segaflip,Rikter,Russs15,Boba Feta,and who ever else i feel like sending too.
also 1 more time thank you JackLucas for the art,very fine job for your first time,better than i could do.

OK the Twilight Zone The Movie is finished,and i dont think it looks and sounds that bad at all(my only problem with it is it is fullscreen)so i will be sending this out to these people monday or tuesday:
segaflip,Rikter,and JackLucas for the artwork,see guys if you help me with art,you WILL get credited for it in the NFO and you will get the project plus bonuses mailed to you,no searching and downloading.
and also Boba Feta,Russs15 and ADigitalMan can get copies if interested.
now to finish King Kong Colourized version

update watched it on my 36" TV and it looked pretty darn good for an old(1983) fullscreen 1 ld movie,but then took into the living room and watched on my 62" Hidef DLP widescreen tv and ran through the nice sound system,and damn it sounds pretty good but my tv stretched the heck out of it,it was definitely watchable,but not as good as a picture tube smaller tv,if there is any interest at all in this, maybe segaflip can post for you guys,and Rikter will have it in his collection as well for everyone that gets there dvd's from him.

The LD was open matte, if I'm not mistaken. You should look into using the "Theatrical Matte Option" that was used on Bride of Re-Animator.

I was going to suggest that the LD was open matte as well, but I couldn't really find any evidence to substanciate it.

About a month ago there was talk of someone doing a dvd from that transfer but nothing seems to have come from it.
