insane ways to get the message across

Okay we all have ideas on how to convince Disney to re-release the theatrical cut. So which methods have you wanted to try but were afraid too? OR have actually gone and done. please, remember this is for crazy ideas.

I imagine a t shirt with “Lucas Raped My Childhood…” on the front, and " And Disney legalized It" on the back would get the point across, but that might wind up getting me sued or something.

Any other insane ideas?

You’d probably be asked to take the shirt off or cover it up. It’s a repugnant phrase that has been used over the years by those who only like the SE’s to shut down or cheapen any legitimate discussion of OT film preservation. It’s the absolute worst thing to start a conversation on releasing the OT with.

Phrases like “George Lucas Raped My Child,” just make the fandom look childish and pathetic. You want to know what to do about Disney releasing the original trilogy? Sit and wait for them to do it, and then buy it when it comes out; also, don’t buy the SEs if you are so offended by them.

You’re right – that is insane.

You wanna know what the craziest way to do it is? Just watch the Despecialized Editions and ignore any further releases of the SEs, waiting to see if and when Disney puts out an official restoration. If they don’t, oh well, you have Despecialized. If they do, great, then you get to have it without making a fool of yourself.

Kindly emailing them would be fine as well. Let them know that there is a market for it.

Yes. I’ve not put any money into Star Wars since the 2004 DVD debacle and I won’t spend another penny on it until the OT is restored and released. I’ve signed petitions and sent letters calmly stating my position on the subject.
Boycotting and stating your case is the best method.
Equating it to rape is stupid, offensive and useless.

If that’s the case, you shouldn’t be watching the Despecialized Editions, since they use the Blu-rays.

HOW would this “get the point across”?
The average Joe wouldn’t know what the hell you were referencing.
The only point that phrase makes is that you’re a man-child with no sense of taste or decency. A person to be avoided at all costs.
Is that what you’re going for?
