HBO and Cinemax are airing Batman(1989) in HD…the picture looks great but it lacks the 5.1 soundtrack. Just wondering if anyone has captured the HD video and would be interested in adding the booming 5.1 soundtrack that can be found on the DVD release.
Oh, I wasn't implying that someone should make a DVD. I'm just interested in seeing all of these great films (that I grew up with) in hi-def. Problem is I can't download TS files (slow speed internet + very low download limit) so I rarely get the chance to watch hi-def stuff.
Originally posted by: dark_jedi It looks true to me,I have it(the .ts HD file),but I didnt plan on doing it because this has been re-done and released officially. DJ
You must have a bunch of hd space lol. I have to clean off two of my hd's right now from d/l all the hd ts files before I can d/l anymore hdtv stuff

you do realize that unless they're authoring HD DVD's with this material, it's not going to be in HD, correct?
And if you did that, it would have to be split over 3-4 single layered DVD's.
Oh I believe you there. It'll be a while before I get into HD-DVD/Blu-ray though. I live in Australia so there's nothing here for another month or two at the earliest. Then there's the whole "format war" deal. Finally I couldn't really afford the hardware at this point. So I relish watching HDTV stuff as that's the best I'm going to see for a while (disregarding DVDs that upscale well).

That's too bad. You could get an entry-level HD DVD player right now for $350 here. And then there's the add-on for the 360 that will be $200!!
Yes there was a sync posted for this particualr file, I believe the stream was clean so all you would need to do would be extract the stereo AC3 from the .TS file, I use DGIndex, find the delay between the 2 files using WavPad add or subtract the delay that is on the original stereo file name from DGIndex and run it through AC3 Delay corrector. As for Muxing, I've only heard of MP2TSMS that can mux TS streams and that is mad $$$
