Where are you from?

There are many here about whom I thought they were native English speakers based on their perfect written English, only to find out later that they weren't, so I thought it would be nice to get to know where everyone was from. I know where many of you live already but it would be nice to get to know about the others as well.

So I put this in my signature and I hope others will follow suit:

I'm from Pilsen in the Czech Republic. Where are you from?

BTW. Check out the video linked under Czech Republic. It's funny as hell, yet quite close to reality :-) Although I myself may be the worst Czech ever, because I don't like beer :-)

I'm from Kentucky in the United States of America.

Gotta say, your making of videos you did, you speak English better than most Americans. You don't even have much of an accent either.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

http://crowdcontrols.cc/

Crowd Controls is a demand tool for filmmakers, musicians and other artists to find where audiences are located around the world. We provide a simple, interactive form that you can embed on your website for your fans to enter an email address and city or post code where they want to see you play. You and fans can see where the demand is, so you can decide where to book shows and notify them when you’re coming to town.

Thanks :-) Though to be entirely truthful, that's not my natural accent, I think I was subconsciously trying to sound more American, while actually my natural accent tends to be more of a mixture between American, British (and I guess a little bit of Czech) and it tends to shift one way or the other depending on with whom I'm speaking :-)

Where am I from...?

Well, outer space of course but I'm corporally in Falkirk, central Scotland, most of the time (when I'm not being all you lovely zombies).

I am originally from Theatrical Cuts vs. Special Editions. I have spent brief periods in Preservations and General Star Wars but have since retired to the relaxing climes of Off Topic, due to the lack of regulations and difficulty of extradition.

NO, DR. PEPPER IS FROM TEXAS.

Dr Pepper is a soft drink, marketed as having a unique flavor. The drink was created in the 1880s by Charles Alderton of WacoTexas and first served around 1885. Dr Pepper was first nationally marketed in the United States in 1904 and is now also sold in EuropeAsiaCanadaMexicoAustralia (as an imported drink) and South America. Variants include a non-high fructose corn syrup version, Diet Dr Pepper, as well as a line of versions with additional flavors, first introduced in the 2000s.

W.W. Clements, a former CEO and president of the Dr Pepper/7-Up Company, described the taste of Dr Pepper as one-of-a-kind, saying "I've always maintained you cannot tell anyone what Dr Pepper tastes like because it's so different. It's not an apple, it's not an orange, it's not a strawberry, it's not a root beer, it's not even a cola. It's a different kind of drink with a unique taste all its own."
