I think I’m capable of recording from WOWOW, but right now I can’t seem to connect to the machine in Japan we use for that.

Not that it matters, because I can only schedule it a week ahead - remind me and I’ll see what I can do. No promises.

Great news!!! They will be broadcasted from the end of November, so I strongly hope you will be able to record all of them!

And, thanks in advance… (^^,)

What would be the significance in capturing this broadcast?

Just checked. Yes, I have the capability of recording from WOWOW.

There are delogo masks for the filter I use in Avisynth, for all three WOWOW channels, on https://down.7086.in/lgd/

The page is only for TPM, just so you know.

The rest are there though, just in the days following.

Some people call them Force Ghosts. I call them Midichlorian Swarms.

It’ll probably show up in the capture software’s search, then - just not until a week before.

Looks like I might be able to schedule the OT later today, then. (WOWOW listings for the 13th aren’t in the grid yet.)

I’m still waiting for it to show up on the program guide…it should be there but it isn’t. Maybe some channels don’t go as far as others. WOWOW listings on the box are only going up as far as the 12th, while some channels are up to the 14th.

Anyway, yes, it’ll be a TS file if I can cap it.

I still don’t see the point but I programmed in ANH and ESB. It says it’s Japanese-dubbed.

Well, if it’s not the 2011 version, could be useful for restorations; if indeed it is, it may have less DNR of Blu-ray (difficult, I must admit, but not totally impossible)…

Well, I could definitely use another source for the 2001 version of TPM, if it happens to be that version.

If I had some gum, I’d chew a hole into the sun…

A really nice HD recording of the 2004 trilogy would be helpful for my bluray set I’m working on as well.

ANH is capping and should be done in 1h45. I may need somewhere to share the files from once I pull them off the capbox, any advice?

Alright, I’m pulling ANH off the capbox.

スター・ウォーズ エピソード4/新たなる希望(吹替版).ts
filesize is 19.49 GB.

It says it’s 5.1.

The ANH master has a Fox bumper still.

The “A long time ago…” and rollup are painted into Japanese.

A delogo mask won’t be necessary; the station bug is in the letterbox.

We think this is the 2002 dubbing for Nittele, with Akira Ishida as Luke. (It does appear to have the 2004 M&E track, though - the Krayt scream was replaced.)

Just gotta check the Rocks.

We’re almost certain it’s the 2011. 😦

The quality’s good though. We’re talking 18.5 GB of MPEG-2 for ANH.
