ThiefCobbler4ever's (New and Improved) Reconstructed Trailer Thread

 (Edited)

I decided to reopen the contest and move it here. I want to thank Ziggy Stardust for this, he really made me feel better about this. :)

Anyway, as you know, the object of this contest is to reconstruct a trailer. Here are the rules.

1. Pick a movie, any movie! It can be a movie you love, or a movie's trailer you think is in dire need of restoration.

2. Use the best DVD, Blu-Ray, or any other sources for your reconstructed trailer available.

3. The trailer for your selected movie can be any trailer you want: Ones we all know and love, rare ones, etc.

4. Do the best you can with your reconstructed trailer (matching it frame-by-frame for example)

5. Keep the trailer you're reconstructing with the original audio.

6. Anything that is exclusive to the trailer you're working on and can't find any good sources for it, then keep it as is and if you want, upscale the quality.

I'll give you some examples (NOTE: I did NOT make these):

Contest begins right now and ends on May 1st. I'll pick the winner(s) after the deadline and announce the winner(s) in a few days or so after May 1st.

Now, we already have to contestants so far; AvP for his reconstructed trailer for the Krays:

And taas007 for his reconstructed trailer for Resevoir Dogs:

Good luck and have fun! :)

UPDATE 5/20/11: I have decided to make this thread for showcasing reconstructed trailers and/or TV Spots. There is no longer a contest, which means no deadline, which means you have all the time in the world! :)

If I had the resources, I'd definately make an awesome horror trailer out of that weaksauce Ghost Whisperer show.

Surely, someone else has to be interested in this?

I don't have a picture for that.

It has come to my attention that it takes time for you folks to reconstrut a trailer and that I've been impatient. No, it's not sarcasm, I finally get why there's no replay/trailers for this contest yet.

Oh, please, stop that bumping. This thread is remembered, as soon as I finish my next reconstruction.

I apologize. I get impatient sometimes. Tell you what, I'll give you contestants more. The contest is extended to May 15th.

How about you just make it a permanent thing, and choose a winner for each month?
