The Refer To Yourself In Third Person Campaign (THIS THREAD IS NOT AND NEVER WAS ABOUT THE ROCK)

Anchorhead's Putting a face to the name thread had an interesting side effect, in that it got a bunch of non-off topic folk to come visit off-topic and even change their avatars too.  So TV's Frink thought of doing something similar...

TV's Frink will be away for a good eight or nine days at the end of the week.  Until that time, TV's Frink will continue to talk like this.

TV's Frink thinks you all see where TV's Frink is going with this.  TV's Frink encourages the rest of you to follow suit if you like, and who knows, perhaps it will spread to other parts of the forum.

Or perhaps TV's Frink will be the only one doing this.  It is super-annoying, after all.  But TV's Frink is okay with that.

Is this in any way inspired by the return of pro wrestling superstar THE ROCK?

TV's Frink has no idea what that means.  Does THE ROCK do this?

 The Rock had the 3rd person thing so hot, that once he sent the crowd into paroxysms of excitment by using a pronoun.

"Do you understand the Rock?" pause, lowers voice, "Do you understand... ... ... me?"

The entire arena erupted.

TV's Frink will not be surprised if no one else does this.  It's already pretty irritating, to be honest.

Then I propose this thread should be used to talk about The Rock, and how cool he was.

Back in the day, The Rock was so popular (or 'over' in rasslin parlance) that he could do no wrong.

I remember once he did a running elbow slam on a BOOK to show his distaste for the author, and the crowd went crazy! Those were the days.
