The Phantom Menace (final edit)

Here’s the first 3 (of 9) fan edits. People had problems with sound clipping originaly so I re-did it from scratch 2 weeks ago. The only small audio issue is with JarJar’s hindi dub mixing in with the english dub - the vocals in each didn;t always line up well together. I’m 95% happy with this edit and since I didn’t get paid to do this - it’s staying this way lol

I’d love feedback thank you to anyone who takes time to watch. I have to finish up Rogue One then finish up the original trilogy (no ewok battle in Jedi!!!) and then maybe try Clone Wars movie.

I watched the 2 Phantom Edits (TPM and AotC) and basically want a better AotC edit, I liked the Phantom Edit of TPM which is really good. AotC Phantom Edit was too short with 106 minutes, that’s what bothers me most with this cut, the Asteroid scene should have been left in.

Aside from some bad interacting between Anakin and Padme, Episode III pretty much is a very satisfying Star Wars entry in my personal point of view.

Personally I think it adds nothing but ironically that IS my fav part of Clones lol I hated to trim it. The reason it’s out is because I wanted all the films to run (roughly) the same running time (like in the original versions - all at 2hrs20mins). I think they all play better at 2hrs. I didn’t like the Phantom Edits becuase I found they didn’t service the movies or whole series. Just taking out things you don’t like isn’t what’s best for the movie. Like how TPE just removes Jar Jar. He’s a main character and just eliminating him doesn’t fix anything. Changing his voice and giving proper english subs and then cutting out his overt silliness and stupidity then make him a regular character.

I should have stated that my cuts are not PERFECT films lol, they’re just blue prints as to to how I think the movies should have been put together.

You kind of have to watch them all in a row. I made changes to the originals that work in conjunction with the originals. The original prequels almost loosely connect to the originals in way (does that make sense?) and I tightened it up. I even removed the entire endor battle in jedi to get it to 2hrs.

Hopefully I’ll get to finishing the originals by the end of next month.

I got pain from a twice dislocated knee, spaces between both hips with arthritis and degenerative disc disease on 3 levels on discs with my bottom disc out of place pressing against my siatic nerve. I’m on morphine, prednazone and lyrica (anit-seizure meds)! Fun times!!! LOL I’m surprised I managed to get my fanedits THIS far lol
