Hi and necrobump,

I'm way to old to have not seen blade runner, but I make it a point not to watch rated R movies (it sure shuts the kids up about it). This activity with a prequel going into production has sparked my interest in the movie and I was wondering if you still had the broadcast version available for download. I couldn't figure out how to email you so I figured bumping and old dead thread was my only course of action. I did check to make sure you were still active Rikter, you were here a month ago, so here's hopping. Thanks.

I've been looking for some of the Angysvn Editions for years (namely the Blade Runner releases) but have been unsuccessful. I'd particularly like to find the BLAX20: Blade Runner: The International Cut - Criterion Laserdisc version. Maybe we'll both be lucky someday.

Is BLAX20 just the International Cut or is it the Criterion disc's special features as well?

Just the international cut, which is on the official 5 disc retail dvd briefcase, or blu ray.

It is non anamorphic, interlaced on the Rikter dvd.

The official version is restored not sure if the color timing is any different on the dvd versus the laserdisc though, which makes a preservation of this sort kind of valid to hold onto.

Is not the Tv cut the same as the theatrical with the narration but only censored and therefore unremarkable?

I don't think that the color timing is different from the official version, as the Theatrical and Director's Cut were color timed separately from the Final Cut, presumably in order to retain their original color scheme.

The cable cut is purely censored I believe, but it's interesting to see dialogue and visual cuts I suppose...

TV version was shown up until a couple years ago. IIRC it is indeed the 82 US theatrical version with content edits for basic TV.

I need to re-watch the DVD workprint.

Isn't Rikter's workprint version just the low quality copy that was circulating before it was officially released remastered on DVD?
